Quattro’s – OrmskirkWe went for my 75th birthday celebration and as always the food and service were excellent. The Xmas menu looks very good so hopefully be there again in near future. Staff are great, nothing too much trouble. My grandchildren say it is their favourite restaurant.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkWe have been to this establishment 3 times in the past month. Every time it just gets better. Great service and excellent food. Also, you get great portions at a reasonable price. Well pleased customers.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallLovely food, as always. Thank you.
3 Millstones Inn – ClitheroeExcellent food. Plenty of choice. Lovely decor and atmosphere. Good value for money.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallGreat meal, all four of us thoroughly enjoyed everything we ate. The service was friendly and efficient too. We will return soon.
Toms Table – ClitheroeYou have become our favourite dining place when we visit our son at Lancaster University. The food is excellent, you do wonderful imaginative tasty dishes with plenty of options, it is a relaxed atmosphere which we all enjoy. Your wine list is very imaginative with a good selection and the service is very attentive and friendly and its everything we would wish after a long journey from Leicestershire. Well done and we look forward to our next visit .
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleLast Sunday we celebrated my best friends baby shower here. The service we received was unfaultable, Trudy saw us through from the phone booking, to dietary requirements and special requests. she truly couldn't have done anymore for us. We had an afternoon tea in the upstairs section which was perfect for our group of 10 and the decor up there just made it all the more lovely. The food as always was superb. It's not somewhere that jumped out as an obvious venue to hold a baby shower, but I can definitely recommend it, as it was just wonderful.
Toms Table – ClitheroeMeal Sunday afternoon. Family of four. Two burgers and the kebab were fine but the Sunday roast was very poor. Hardly any beef and it was so overdone it was nuked! Not good value for money I’m afraid and that was the reason I went in, “to try the roast”. Won’t rush back for the roast but the other food was fine.
The Waterwitch – LancasterAmazing food, brilliant service our favourite place for a family Sunday lunch
The Shepherds Rest Inn – TodmordenLovely souffle as a starter, perfectly judged portions for the roast beef main with extra gravy available (yes!) and a yummy sticky parkin to finish. Friendly service, too. A real treat.
Toms Table – ClitheroeI booked a meal for my 90 year old mother and me for 5:30 pm on a Saturday and booked via the internet which was very easy. The staff were lovely and couldn't have been more friendly and helpful, the atmosphere has vastly improved from what it has been in the past with previous owners and it was warm and welcoming. WE had to wait a while for the menues and once ordered we waited what seemed like ages for our starters and had an even longer wait for the main course to arive. We therefore didn't have a sweet as we were running out of time to get back for an appointment in town at 8:15 (Which we just about made, so you can tell how long we were at the pub. The meal was satisfactory nicely presented and hot with no complaints other than the side of sugar snap peas and long stemmed broccoli were barely cooked. I like my veg al-dente but these were slightly warm salad. My mother couldn't eat them and as I'm not too bothered about raw veg I at least had a good go at them. On reflection under cooked veg are bettter than over cooked veg. All in all we would go again
The Shepherds Rest Inn – TodmordenExcellent visit to Papas, good food, really good value and lovely staff. Will definitely be back
Papa Luigis – ChorleySimply our favourite place to eat.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkWent for lunch mid-week. Staff very friendly and helpful, in a relaxed environment, with a well-furnished restaurant, and bar. Food was well presented and excellent, and the menu offered a variety of options and was very reasonably priced.
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleVisited with child, partners parents and 2 dogs. All ordered different meals and all throughly enjoyed. (Dogs enjoyed the available treats) Very busy, kept updated on wait times throughout. Absolutely worth the wait. Staff all wonderful, chatty, polite and knowledgeable. Catered without hesitation for allergies, confidently answering questions and liaising with kitchen. Great value for money, stunning dishes. Looking forward to returning.
