Quattro’s – OrmskirkWent for Tapas and the service and food was amazing . Very generous portions , perhaps don’t quite need the 3 plus a side per person but depends on what you order . Definitely go again
Bread and Butter – PrestonI do not recollect how many times I have been to Bread & Butter but I introduced another friend to this lovely place to eat on Friday 26 July 2025 lunchtime. Yet again, the soup and sandwich were sufficient and I will say, that yet again, the soup is outstanding! Never had a negative soup experience yet. The sandwich is ample and so beautifully made and presented. Thank you Bread & Butter, you don't let me down!
Bread and Butter – PrestonBees came recommended to me, so a friend and I came along. Our welcome was warm by the chap behind the counter and the shop had treats galaore! We didn't have to wait long for our food and it was lovely that the chef brought it out to us. We had a nice portion for the price and we couldn’t fault it at all. I would totally recommend it - as soon as you walk in it gives you a nice warm hug and has a real community feel which we loved! We look forward to coming back.
Bees Kitchen and Deli – ChorleyDining in A Disco I was invited to celebrate my sisters 60th birthday at CDJ Riverside. It was a private party of around 30 guests and I remain gobsmacked at the experience and put it down to: poor management, lack of consideration, ignorance, inexperience. Parallel to the Birthday celebration, the restaurant had organised a 70s revival night. The DJ was set up next to the dining area. We were a party of older and younger family members who wanted to chat and catch up with one another. Instead we were subjected to “Stayin' Alive, Dancing Queen and The Locomotion” at full blast during our 3 course meal. I can confirm that The Bee Gees and Sticky Toffee Pudding are not a good mix. Amazingly the 70s revival night was happening in the car park behind the restaurant so we were the only guests in the restaurant. We sat at the table in our casual smart gear shouting at each other between mouthfuls, DJ Danny Zuko keeping the energy high whilst Björn, Benny, Agnetha & Frida wandered past in their gold lamé jumpsuits down to the car park. Surely, it should have been crystal clear that hosting a 60th birthday celebration alongside a 70s revival night would be contradictory and incompatible? Even after the host and several guests asked for the volume be lowered, this didn't happen. The food was great, the service good but the evening was simply ruined by the noise level. If you are planning your Birthday party at CDJ Riverside be prepared for a Basil Fawlty experience.
