Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleI visited The Traders yesterday with my brother and sister to celebrate our birthdays. The table was booked for 1pm and we arrived at 12-50pm. We placed our orders for main courses which arrived at 1-45pm! I had asked one of the waitresses if they usually took so long to get their orders out and she said that they were a chef down and only had a trainee chef. The servings were minuscule and would have been insufficient for a seven year old! My sister and I agreed that we would have a pudding but were then advised that there were no sponge/ pancakes/ trifles of the day! A very disappointing visit, especially as we had not visited for some time and had received good reports about the place. I complained about the long wait and the small portions and received an apology. Could not possibly recommend this establishment to anyone.
The Traders Arms – BlackburnHad a lovely lunch at the restaurant on 30 July to celebrate my friend's 70th birthday. The food and service were very good and there was a jolly atmosphere.
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyA busy Wednesday night at Quattros. Food was excellent as usual and the service was spot on. Good wines and great atmosphere. Thank you, Paul, for looking after us.
