Great food with great service. What more do you need. Excellent.

What a pleasant surprise! Four of us for lunch on a Friday, we were a little concerned about how quiet it was. We need not have worried. Greeted by a very friendly and helpful lady, who gave us a choice of tables overlooking stunning views. The service she provided was first rate. Our food was ordered and was quite simply superb. Four empty plates went back. We are experienced diners at pubs and restaurants and all rated this at the very top. To add to this, the menu prices were very reasonable. We will certainly be back and I for one can't wait. Thank you.

Out of this world friendly service with fantastic views and delicious food from start to finish. Looking forward to my next visit.

my husband, my friend and i booked Verdes last minute on a Wednesday night. We had a great evening. Good food and friendly staff. I expected we’d just have a quick meal and get home….but the atmosphere was good and we decided to make night of it. We brought half the pizza home in a box. It was too much, but a good marinara. I had chicken in peppercorn sauce (delicious) and the other meal was beef stroganoff. All very good.

Visited for the first time yesterday. Had a warm welcome, great service and food. Will be back.

The food, as always, was very good and a great menu. One small bit of feedback: the door into the kitchen has an extremely loud squeak - and we were sat near the door. Just take a few minutes to grease the hinges and save your customers having to listen to an unnecessary and annoying noise.

Absolute gem of a place. My son and I visited yesterday for lunch. Love the fact there are still breakfast options to choose from midday onwards. Food was absolutely fabulous and freshly made which we both thoroughly enjoyed. We will most definitely be back. Staff efficient and friendly. Modern and clean facilities.

Lovely Saturday evening meal! The food was delicious, service excellent and great value for money too. We will return.

We have been to the Whitchaff a few times but I was disappointed this time. The food I chose was the cheese and onion pie with beans and chips, price £17.95! The piece of pie was more like a children's portion and not many baked beans but enough chips. My husband had the same but a bigger piece of pie. Very disappointed that the roast dinner had run out, we were there at 5 o'clock. The sweets were okay but nothing special for the price. I don't think the food lived up to past meals we have had. Service was quite slow, didn't appear to have enough staff. Table wasn't ready when we arrived.

Came for a 40th birthday meal staff went above and beyond to help and the food was amazing.

Read reviews so booked as on holiday and we were not disappointed. We had an excellent meal on Sunday evening. Lovely menu. Every member of staff were attentive but not in your face and you did not feel rushed.
