Great food and very friendly staff. Great value for money.

Our last few visits to The Whitchaff have been ok.No complaints but ok.However this time it was very good.The Chicken fajitas came out of the kichen as they should do.Sizzling away in the pan with the portions much improved.The Gammon dinner was a good hearty meal and plenty of it.Service by the staff was excellent.Keep up the good work folks.

Well I really wanted to give a glowing review as I did for the meal we received on Sunday 28th June 2026, but unfortunately I can’t. We had two beef roast dinners as last time, but it was no where near as good. Broccoli was too hard and the cauliflower cheese was hard too and nowhere near as good as last time, the cheese sauce looked n tasted rather gloppy like it had been made from a packet, unfortunately. The meat was also not as good as last time hard to cut. Looked amazing when it was brought to the table, but it was disappointing to be honest. We will go again to give it another try though. Service was very good from the girls.

We always enjoy meals at The Traders, the new menu was great. I had the crispy beef with Singapore noodles, delicious. Atmosphere as always great & excellent service.

Had Sunday lunch which was very good unfortunately it was spoiled by having to wait 1 hour from ordering to food to arrive atmosphere the table atmosphere very pleasant

Sunday lunch . It was very busy .. just a short wait from ordering to being served .. excellent roast dinner .. very helpful and pleasant staff .. good choice of deserts also very tasty .. competitively priced .. will come again .. highly recommended..

I have been coming to Quattros for over 25 years and always found it excellent. Unfortunately on Saturday 22nd August I went for a meal with my brother and sister in law. The table I was allocated was dreadful and I had to be careful I did not bang my head on the serving counter. The meal was really not good. I had the insallato quattros salad the chicken was dry, there was hardly any pancetta or parmesan shavings all covered with an excess of salad. My sister in law had calamari which was rubbery and not cooked well, she then had duck a l'orange which was not very nice and the orange sauce was very bitter. We ordered some hot water which never arrived. Overall a very disappointing experience, which has made me question how long it will be to return.

Only 3 diners, I wasn’t well. 2 main courses very good, I main course ( chicken) poor, totally overcooked.

Never fails to impress with the standard of food and service. First class! Perfect for a late lunch on Saturday afternoon before it gets too busy, but still great buzzy vibe at the bar.

Let’s keep this short and sweet. I’ve lived in Chorley 20 years and never gone to this restaurant cause I tend to leave my booking till the last minute and can never get in on a Saturday. We managed it this weekend. The meal was perfect. Service was perfect the surroundings were perfect say no more you won’t be disappointed.

Had the best fish and chips, the fish was so tender and deliciously flakey so light. Not a chip person but adored there chips. My husband really enjoyed his mixed grill . The staff were very friendly and helpful. Service was excellent. A great atmosphere ; everything was perfect , could not fault it at all.

We were very impressed a friendly welcome, great meal and full English breakfast, fab value for money especially knowing this is a community run pub. We stayed overnight and the room was comfy with super soft bedding. Great decor! Highly recommended.

Visited sat night at 8pm, could not fault the food it was amazing as was the service but the noise from the bar area completely spoiled the meal for us, eaten there in the week and was blown away, Saturday nights are clearly a drinking place not for a nice meal out, that said I will be back in the week days not sat night

Great place to meet friends and family or to have a drink as a couple. Lovely atmosphere, fantastic friendly service and super cocktails. Good selection of pizzas or snacks
