We recently visited Quattros for a meal and, overall, had a very enjoyable experience. When we arrived, we were asked whether we would like to have a drink in the bar before going to our table or go straight through. We opted to have a drink first and ordered at the bar. Unfortunately, the barmaid who served us did not appear particularly happy to be there. Her responses were short and rather sharp, with very little interaction or friendliness. First impressions are important, and this was disappointing as we would have expected a warmer and more welcoming greeting. Once we were shown to our table, however, things improved considerably. We ordered starters and main courses, and the food was excellent. The portions were generous, and everything was fresh, hot and very well presented. We also had desserts, which were equally enjoyable and a lovely way to finish the meal. Despite the initial experience at the bar, the quality of the food certainly made up for it. We would highly recommend Quattros and would definitely return. Hopefully, on our next visit, the welcome and service at the bar will match the excellent standard of the food.

Meal fine but our request to have a break between starter and main course seems to have been ignored by the kitchen team (we’d asked for half an hour but got 5 minutes). This was particularly disappointing as we’d arrived and been seated 20 minutes early so the kitchen shouldn’t really have been expecting to go home so early anyway but (in common with lots of places now) the chefs wanting to get home takes priority over the customer wanting a night out
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleAmazing food, service and overall experience for a family meal here on Saturday. Great selection of fish specials and great menu choices. Food was delicious and we will definitely be back again soon.
Italian Cottage – ChorleyThis is our go-to local and we feel lucky. The food is great. Tonight, the special duck with plum sauce was exceptional and the salads yummy. Chips here are always to die for! There’s a great atmosphere with wonderful, friendly, attentive staff - nothing is too much trouble. All this at a very good price. What’s not to like?!
The Traders Arms – BlackburnLovely home feel, busy but doesn't feel it with the way it's set up. Food was good and hot. Staff are very friendly.
The Plough Inn – OrmskirkService and atmosphere was great if a little noisy since there was a 40th birthday celebration taking place on the next table! We've been a few times before and have found the food to be excellent and reasonably priced too. We will be visiting you again soon!

At £100 including a tip, we thought this was great value for money. The food was lovely, staff very attentive, and a lovely atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.

Quattro’s – OrmskirkService on arrival was good but had to exchange glasses for drinks twice first was hot and second was dirty. Luckily third time au asked to replace glass when it was cold! Food was amazing as always and arrived quickly but once plates were cleared was not asked if required further drinks and had to ask for further drinks. Staff were polite but could have been more attentive?

3 Millstones Inn – ClitheroeEnjoyed meals here on several occasions with friends where service and value for money have always been great. Most recently enjoyed a meal with family and grandchildren. All enjoyed meals and conversation with staff. Kids also met the pub cat which was very welcoming.
