We had a lovely meal at the Dog, I had the steak pie and my wife had the Chicken supreme with fresh vegetables and chips. It’s in a lovely setting overlooking the valley and the staff were very nice and attentive. The only criticism we have is that the music whilst being proper music, unlike some places we have been to that have that horrible electronic music. Which for us was just a little too loud for our liking.

Been many times food amazing,but always feel rushed to been seen to table even though we arrive early to have a drink with our party at the bar,the waitresses wven asked if we wanted to order our starters at the bar were we were socialising.

One of our favourites. We took friends last night and our food was excellent. It was a busy Saturday but the staff worked so hard with no long waits, attentive and delicious food presented well and nice and hot Love this place. Thanks to Sam and the staff who were on.

We love 3 Millstones and are regular visitors. Food is delicious, hot and well cooked and the staff are friendly. My only issue is the coffee which although nice has been consistently tepid on our last few visits which necessitates drinking it straight down to avoid it being cold. I like to savour my coffee so I'll be giving it a miss from now on which is disappointing.

As always, the food was perfect - enough choice to suit everyone, lots of interesting flavours, and beautifully presented. Family visiting the valley loved it.

My family and I visited the Griffins Head on 15.07.26, for a table at 5.30pm. The service was good, kind and attentive. Unfortunately, my son was given a sirloin steak which was fatty and under cooked (my wife specified 'medium', for him). To be fair, Aaron (my son) ate most of it anyway (tired - long days at work - too polite to complain...). It was towards the end of the meal when my wife and I - alerted by Aaron - realised that his steak was not as ordered. We left the premises soon after 7pm, and, thinking about our meal later the same evening, I emailed to ask for reimbursement of £20.95 (the cost of Aaron's meal). Our bill, in total, was £85+. We were given 'short shrift' by both Michelle and Darren.

We regularly eat at the Whitchaff on Friday lunchtimes. Always good service and food. Staff are well trained and friendly. We only eat lightly and always opt for the Fish Tacos starter which are fabulous!

We enjoy our visits to quatros but this week the garlic bread was overdone like a crisp..also I feel the drinking glasses look dirty, I think it is damage from dishwasher but they do not look clean at all… just a thought

Unfortunately the last couple of times haven’t been great at all. The food was Luke warm. This was our go to place for a beautiful Sunday lunch but sadly it seems too many bookings are being taken and the food has just lost quality.
