The food and service were excellent. I know it was Wednesday lunch time and the pub hadn't been open since Sunday evening, but there was no heating on and there was a draft coming in through the back doors. No good for old folks.

I can't remember what the sauce ,was but it was delicious ( wish I knew recipe) Sticky toffee pudding and ice-cream for pudding ,delicious too.It was a bit of a trek up the narrow roads that we were not sure we were going in right direction but after a chat to some folk we were assured we were heading the right way ,just a little further .Well worth the effort.Bravo

The food when it arrived was warm not hot. In the past everything has been spot on . Maybe there was a reason for this one off . First poor experience we have had here.
