Chose The Malthouse for its menu variety & proximity. Great selection, good food & nice atmosphere. Have eaten here on many occasions - it’s one of my favourites in Ironbridge.

Chose The Malthouse for its menu variety & proximity. Great selection, good food & nice atmosphere. Have eaten here on many occasions - it’s one of my favourites in Ironbridge.
The Malthouse – TelfordWhilst the food was enjoyable, we did have a long wait after ordering to our main course, especially relevant as we were the only diners for the first 20 minutes we were there. Not sure that the Staff serving the alcohol were 18, and that seemed more intent on the attention of a group of lads that came in. This is such a shsmd as we have eaten here many times and it’s always been a nice experience. We have been coming here for just over a year now and the menu choices have not changed.
The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyWent for Food at The Smokey Cow for My Dad's 60th. It was amazing from start to finish! Food was 10/10. Chef Josh cooked everything to perfection. The steak cut through like butter! Louise was fab, nothing was too much trouble for her, she was brilliant with the kids in our party, promit with service and so friendly. Our experience was first class and will definitely be returning. Thank you team :)
The Smokey Cow – TelfordDelicious food, staff very attentive. We will be there again.
The Last Inn – NewportLovely evening meal and drink. Was a little quiet when we arrived but a few more tables filled up later on. The food was very good and service friendly. We had the fish & chips and the chicken and rib combo - both of which were delicious. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Ironbridge
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordThe food, drink, ambience, venue and location were all amazing. BUT to service was really disappointing - cocky attitude, unfriendly and slow. All of our party felt the same. Shame but don’t let this put you off as the Yorkshire puddings are the best!
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordFood lovely service shocking
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordWe have been going to the Queens Head since 1998 , we nearly always have a good meal there ,the food is usually very good and tasty . We reserved a table yesterday in the middle room , although when we got there the table was in the bar by the fireplace , yes but I had asked for the middle room , we are very busy was the reply but we did we got our table in the middle room . It was chaotic in the place ,so uncomfortable, unfriendly staff no one smiling just all rushing around, far too busy to take notice. Couldn't fault the food it was hot tasty only one little dish of veg , not enough for two people, but hey ho that's what it is , It's a shame really, that they don't care about their customers . Reading other reviews what day are the staff friendly, we will have to go on that day
The Queens Head – OswestryWe came for Sunday lunch and it was fab. My husband and I had the sharing platter, with 3 meats, stuffing, pigs in blankets, roast potatoes, parsnips and carrots as well as a lovely big Yorkshire pudding. There was also a selection of geeen veg and lashings of gravy. Very tasty food and lovely service. Thank you!

The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordWe come here quite often and decided to book a bottomless brunch for a friend’s birthday. We had the best time! The drinks were great, plentiful and not watered down (!) the food was lovely and the staff were really wonderful. Professional, helpful but so friendly. I cannot recommend it enough. The staff were Eve and Chloe and they literally made our whole visit special.
The Elephant Crossing – IronbridgeChose Surees to celebrate husbands 70th as we love the intimate atmosphere and the food is just layer upon layer of delicious flavour. Boy did it not disappoint my monk fish and prawn curry was perfect. Monkfish moist and flaked to perfection Alex has massoman beef every time s he loves the flavour. Mixed starters presented beautifully. Thankyou again for yet another perfect evening xx
Suree’s Kitchen – IronbridgeWent for Sunday lunch last weekend with Mum. Food great & a smaller portion a available for Mum who has a smaller appetite (at 92). Refurbished interior is very pleasant. Puddings good too. In leaving we discovered that the ladies was up some circular stairs that would have been unsafe for Mum to access so asked where the accessible toilet was. Was told that there was a Disabled toilet in the gents which Mum could use. On the way out we went to this toilet as Mum needed the convenience. It turned out to be a toilet with a door that we had to walk past the urinals to get to. Not Disabled compliant. Not acceptable. I emailed the pub the following day to ask if it was going to be dond as the rest of the pub refurbished via the contact form on website but no reply forthcoming. Now reported to Telford & Wrekin.
