The Last Inn – NewportBrilliant Staff & brilliant food! A large amount of choice for varying diets or those with special dietary needs! Also very accommodating to small children! Well worth a visit, and I’ll definitely be returning and recommending to friends :)
The Gate – ShrewsburyOutstanding!! This was our first time and the waitress took the time to help us pick a few dishes. We had tacos, enchiladas, nachos and lollipops... everything was absolutely delicious! Washed down with a perfect mojito! Lovely that you can then continue your evening outside with a few more cocktails!
The Elephant Crossing – IronbridgeReally lovely meal with attentive staff and a nice setting. Plenty of parking. Super helpful staff. The internet had gone down that evening so could not pay by card so they arranged to call me next day and paid over the phone when service was resumed.
The Queens Head – OswestryWe went on Thursday evening and had a great evening. Really great food and great service. We will be coming back.
The Gate – ShrewsburyA lovely little Thai restaurant in the heart of Ironbridge. The food was excellent and the service was with a 'genuine' smile. Suree’s Kitchen is very small, with only 24 covers, so its advisable to book. Also the restaurant is only open on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday but the visit is well worth it. Car parking is close by, either limited road side or a near by car park. Recommended and well worth a visit.
Suree’s Kitchen – IronbridgeFor an extremely new venue on the food scene of Shrewsbury, I am absolutely blown away by The Gate. Whilst service did take some time this was due to all the food being cooked fresh to order and our server Callum was exceptional in the care he took with us. The portion sizes are exceptional for the price you pay with several of my party feeling very full after some chicken wings and a burger. Very happy to see a hybrid brunch/steakhouse venue in town, and I wish them every success - I will be returning
The Gate – ShrewsburyWe had a lovely meal at Queens Head, very tasty and the service was excellent.
The Queens Head – OswestryAmazing food , great service, would definitely recommend, and will definitely be returning. We had 4 Sunday roasts and all came out perfect.
The Last Inn – NewportWe came here for Sunday lunch in the middle of the heatwave with friends who were visiting us for the weekend. The conservatory was cool with good air conditioning on. My friend couldn't get over the menu and choice. She opted for the sea food platter and was not disappointed at all. The food portions were plentiful, nicely presented and staff attentive. Will be back very soon. Thank you
The Queens Head – OswestryHaving travelled in from the canal opposite, it was a delight to see the mass gluten free options haven't been a coeliac for the last 14 years are not once finding a place to eat so accommodating and welcoming. Having finished our meals and having some left we were thinking that we would have to leave some behind but luckily we were glad to see that take away boxes were on offer so we made full advantage of it and took it back to our boat ready for breakfast the following morning. Would fully recommend to any coeliacs in the local area or to travel in and will be posting the review on an official coeliac charity website to spread more awareness of the amazing options! Will definitely be back if returning to the area.
The Queens Head – OswestryIt was a delightful menu with a specials menu available. The food was wonderful my roast dinner came with a marvellous selection of fresh vegetables. The presentation of the food was really good. The staff were young but obviously enjoyed their place of work which was reflected in the way they payed attention to our needs. A really delightful atmosphere in a beautiful setting.
