The Elephant Crossing – IronbridgeAmazing food and excellent service. Need a new Christmas tree in restaurant. It looks very sad
The Last Inn – NewportHad a nice time out with friends and the food was lovely. On the back of that £27.30 for 3 glasses of wine was abit steep so the value for money wasn’t great though, overall it was expensive for what it was and the chap who was serving us wasn’t very helpful when asked a question regarding an ingredient in a dish in the menu just kinda shrugged and said he didn’t know rather than offering to go and find out from someone else.
The Malthouse – TelfordGreat service. Was my friends 60th, they gave is a great table. Service was great to
The White Hart – IronbridgeMet with friends teatime Monday 18th December. Lovely warm welcome upon arrival. All menu options were available and the food was very good. Service was superb throughout the evening and prices reasonable. Definitely recommend.
The Last Inn – NewportDinner for 2 - On arrival met by warm , friendly greeting and shown to our table . Lovely ambience, crisp white napkin . All the waiting staff were friendly, professional and welcoming . The food was delicious , hot and plentiful . Excellent value for money, would highly recommend and I look forward to going again soon .
The White Hart – IronbridgeWent Sunday evening. Disappointed that there was only the Sunday Lunch menu available. Wouldn’t have booked if we had known that. Considering they were only serving roasts, it took a long time for the food to arrive. However, once they did arrive, the roast dinners were very nice and generous portions. Couldn’t fault the food. Desserts were also good. The dessert sharing board is a very good idea. Again, the desserts did take a long time to arrive though.
The Last Inn – NewportWe have been here many a Sunday just because the brisket beef, is quite possibly the best we have ever tasted. Everything else is a bonus! Love love this place and the food. Thank you staff at Smokey Cow you smash it every single time x
The Smokey Cow – TelfordExcellent, food really great. Ryan our server was so nice
The Last Inn – NewportFantastic service Good to great food Reasonable price Not as great as last year
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordSurprisingly bland food for a self-proclaimed smokehouse. I had an ‘all American burger’ with Texas brisket and Kansas pulled pork. Thank goodness for the mustard alongside! Similarly the chicken and ribs were nicely cooked, but distinctly lacking in flavour - and rather dry. My companion was grateful for the access to my bbq sauce. But the live music was good.
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordThe empty dining room should have been a warning. I ordered the kebab and my partner the pie. Two pieces of pork, burnt chorizo and a rock hard flat bread. The amount I left should have raised the question was everything ok with your meal. My partners meal wasn’t much better with a hard crust on the pie. Staff were friendly but seemed inexperienced. We ordered a dessert of Eton mess, this can only be described as yoghurt in a wine glass, not a berry in sight. This will be my first and last time in the Last Inn.
The Last Inn – NewportBeen here several times, great place, warm welcome, super service, food is fabulous. Will definitely keep returning.
The Last Inn – NewportHad an absolutely amazing meal here last night, food was so good and service was brilliant.
Water Rat – IronbridgeWe had a lovely meal ,definitely will eat here again.
The Malthouse – TelfordVery disappointed in last nights dining experience. Food was ok, service very slow. Room At the back was very cold. Took ages for staff to come and take our orders. Food very average. Decor was lovely.
