Visited Telfords on Thursday 11 July for dinner. Service was excellent from the moment that we arrived - the two front of house staff were very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable and despite being very busy did spend time talking to their customers. Food and wine were excellent, we had a variety of fish dishes for starters and mains and all were excellent, probably one of the best we have ever had.

Food was fault less, amazing ingredients, cooked perfectly - between all of us we had several of the fish dishes, chicken and a great selection of starters. Staff were super friendly and despite being VERY busy they were very responsive. Meals took a little while to come out but the restraint was extremely busy and the food was well worth the wait. The decor is lovely but the acoustics in the room can get loud when the restraint is full so maybe addition of some soft furnishings would help. We will definitely be back, and highly recommend

The Old Courthouse – CaernarfonBooked an early-bird slot at 5pm for two! Beautiful decor, very friendly staff who were very attentive throughout our meal, lovely relaxed atmosphere. The food was wonderful, very tastey, hot and well presented. We ordered steak, which was cooked to perfection. We were staying in Tremadog for a few days break, would definitely eat here again and would thoroughly recommend anyone staying nearby, try this lovely little restaurant.

He and I were extremely pleased that the Chef had gone threat lengths by showing on the menu what could and could not be ordered. We were all so impressed. The service was first class and the food was excellent. Thank you for a very good lunch. Your care and service was exceptional.

It did not disappoint and my meal was the most delicious I have had in a restaurant in a very long time. The atmosphere was warm but not pretentious and we were made to feel incredibly welcome. The service was extremely friendly and efficient and we will most certainly be back!

Then the service stopped we eventually had to ask for a desert menu to be told "hang on" she brought the menus we ordered and they were lovely. I understand it was 3pm but once most of the lunch guests had left doesnt mean all the staff should as well.

Hotel Wrexham – WrexhamThis is an all round super find. The Old Courthouse is set in the old magistrates court within the town walls but overlooking the castle. The venue is super. It’s open with plenty of space and importantly clean and very well kept. Service is a delight. The food menu was just right. Not too much choice but enough for everybody’s palate! The food itself was exceptional. Overall a fantastic evening. Thank you!!!
