Latest Restaurant Review:1884 Wine and Tapas Bar, Hull

"On walking in the place has undergone a good refit. Service was really poor given two menus with no follow up. Had to ask for a drink on entry left at the bar with just the menu. Main manager forgot my drink . No ice bucket available for wine. Bread order came after we had finished our tapas. Gritty prawns and less than tasty calamari. All for £60. I score 5 out if ten, need to find a good restaurant now as still hungry. A real let down, I am a big tapas fan have got a house in Murcia so I think my review is a valid one. They must try harder. Main restaurant significantly better by a country mile. Service being our main issue, service was 1 out of 10, food 5 out of 10, setting 8 out of 10."
