We had a pre theatre meal on Friday 27th March. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. Very friendly staff. Worth a visit . We will go again.

Once again excellent food served by lovely staff never fails to impress

Fantastic meal last night at Lewis’ bistro. The steak and lamb were cooked to perfection and the wine was equally as good. Great service too, will definitely return next time we visit Grasmere.

There is a reason we always go for a table at Lewis when we stay in Grasmere The menu changes the quality of the produce is amazing and we love the food What brings us back is the service. It’s true family run place and that comes through. We stay in Grasmere every 3 months and will be back

All of it was absolutely fabulous especially the cheese soufflé

Went for our second visit of the week, not disappointed again, my wife had the scampi and for myself a 10oz. ribeye steak, both meals were excellent , good honest food served with a smile and excellent value for money.

Very good service and food. Welcoming and cosy, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We will return!

Excellent service and delicious food

This was our third visit to Lewis's Bistro whilst staying in Grasmere and on each occasion we have received a friendly welcome and have enjoyed some delicious food along with excellent service in a pleasant environment. Looking forward to another visit when we return to the Lakes.

This is the best meal out we have had since we moved to the area 4 years ago. Good choice annd good quality of the food and good attention from the staff. Looking forward to returning soon.

As always we had a lovely meal on Wednesday eve .Despite a virtually full dining room and private dining room the service was first class and food lovely, The staff are always friendly and there is always a great relaxed atmosphere

Another visit to the Pheasant did not disappoint as usual. Everything we had was tasty and well cooked, the venison bourguignon is my go to; it is superb! The accompanying veg and chips/new potatoes all lovely. The fact you really have to book speaks for itself.
