Enjoyed another lovely evening. Great food and wonderful attentive and professional staff.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkWe were a large gathering celebrating a family birthday and had a lovely evening with the usual high standard of food at Toms table and a menu that suited everyone inc vegan and gluten free. As it was a Saturday evening they were very busy and we experienced a delay in taking our order of around 45 mins. Our first course arrived promptly though soon after and the chef added a lovely decorative touch to our birthday cake ! Thank you all
Toms Table – ClitheroeAs always, reception and speed of service was great. They accommodated our extra person with no fuss. Atmosphere was pleasant and although background music was a touch noisier than I'd like, the mellow tunes were ideal. Starters were spot on, one pizza was a touch gooey in the middle and went back for a few more seconds in the oven - no problems. Wine was reasonably priced as was the after-dinner digestif.
Site Pizzeria – TodmordenA warm welcome is always guaranteed. Good wine list with reasonable prices. The food was amazing and delicious. The restaurant was very busy which is a testament in itself. Every time we’ve dined here we start planning the next visit.
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallFantastic food wonderful service and very reasonably priced. Took the mother in law for a birthday treat and we all thoroughly enjoyed. Will definitely be going back.
The Shepherds Rest Inn – TodmordenHighly recommend food is excellent and presented lovely , lovely cosy atmosphere with beautiful views , staff are lovely , friendly, polite 5* every time
The Shepherds Rest Inn – TodmordenLovely food. Promptly served. Staff warm and efficient without being intrusive. Warm and well appointed surroundings and really welcoming atmosphere.
Trawden Arms – ColneWe enjoyed our meal at Cosmopolitan and will definitely go again. The food was good and portion size was generous. My husband said his paella was the best he’d had in a restaurant. My pork Tbone was equally good and the meat was not dry. The service was speedy and friendly. I gave a lower rating to atmosphere as we found the area we sat in to be pretty noisy but this improved after a large group nearby moved. Maybe some plants or drapes might baffle the sound level?
The Cosmopolitan Restaurant and Cocktail Bar – ChorleyBrilliant as usual! Great food, lovely staff, perfect ambience and all at a sensible price. Thank you
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleDelicious food and fab service as always.
The Cosmopolitan Restaurant and Cocktail Bar – ChorleyThis is the 4 or 5th time we have eaten at B&B. It is consistently excellent and well worth a visit.
Bread and Butter – PrestonGreat food and atmosphere. Will call in again when up that way
Site Pizzeria – TodmordenDelicious food, lovely atmosphere and great service. Thank you. We’ll be back.
Brizola Bar & Grill – ClitheroeBrizola has fast become our favourite place to go when we get a child free night* The food and service are always outstanding, and the staff are warm and welcoming. (*They cater for kids,we just actually get to enjoy our food when the kids aren't there...)
Brizola Bar & Grill – ClitheroeLovely meal and great staff. Interesting building as well.
Sultan Of Lancaster – LancasterI organised a meal for a party of 26 people. Meals were preordered and cam out in good time. There were plenty of amenable staff present who were very quick to be helpful when we asked for anything. The evening was very busy but we were well looked after. The food was very good and hot and we will definitely be going back in the future.
The Traders Arms – BlackburnFood was nice but nothing special. Seems like they are trying to be a fine dining establishment but failing. Steak and chips with mixed leaves out of a bag. Like what you would get with a sandwich in a cafe. Then the blue cheese sauce was like the base of a peppercorn sauce and did not look it taste much like a blue cheese sauce. The sauce was served in a thimble and when I asked for a bit more they charged me twice. Small details, Get the portion size right and people wouldn't have to aks for a bit more. Atmosphere was quite nice but they didn't seem to have enough staff to service the customers to the standard you would expect from a more expensive establishment.
Toms Table – ClitheroeGreat meal, special pie with Stilton delicious, lovely relaxed meal.
