Lovely nice food great atmosphere

We visited with 2 of our grandchildren. The staff were very attentive and immediately took our drinks order, while we viewed the menu. The 2 children wanted sausage and mash, but it wasn't on the menu. When the staff returned, I asked if we could have the adults sausage and mash, but split across 2 plates. Immediately he said they could do 2 sausage and mash for children, it would be no issue. The food was hot and tasty. Great decor, great food and great staff. Would highly recommend.

Didn’t read the booking form correctly my fault as we were leaving at 0900 Saturday morning breakfast wasn’t served till 1000 the manager explained I again apologies and he had a cereal taken to our room a fantastic Breccy had an evening meal hot very quick staff so efficient and polite. Room out of this world for what we paid. 10 out of 10 for food , room service and choice of beer. Once again completely my fault can’t recommend this b& b to anyone I know thank you so much and unfortunately for you we will be returning in the very near future

Great food, lovely staff. To be accommodated at the last minute was very nice . Thank you. For that ( I think the lady said she was called Helen- thank you) We will return!

I have been going for 25 years the food is brilliant but the bar service lets it down on occasions, your better going the bar you’re self

One of the best pub meals we have ever had....Great service, amazing food, delicious gluten free fish and wonderful location. Great Friday fish/chips deal...go check it out!

Had lunch on Saturday great place to stop mid Hike. I had the Battered Cod sandwich and chunky chips amazing ! Great food, Service and value for money 10/10

I thought I would try the Griffin for my partners birthday lovely place unfortunately the food was most certainly not up to much at all.the kebab skewers were very dry the frozen skin on fries must of bee.n dipped half a dozen times and was horribly hard dry and tasted of fat all in all i dont think i would returnit came on a big plate and filled up with tastless boring lettuce with one or two bits added

Enjoyable afternoon with a friend, picked off the lunch menu as smaller portions. Food was nice an staff plesant. No push to move us on but we booked an earlier table.

We had a family lunch and it was very good.There was a 2yr old who had a kiddies meal which was just right.Very pleasant and efficient staff.We have been a couple of times recently and would go back again.

Enjoyed a lunch with my wife, her sister and husband. We all enjoyed the food and left clean plates. The vegetables were delicious, especially the potatoes. Only cricitsm is the price of wine and my greek salad needed some greenery, perhaps pea shoots. We look forward to a return visit.

Lovely atmosphere with a really warm, welcoming feel from the moment you walk in. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely. A perfect place to relax, eat well, and enjoy the atmosphere. Highly recommend!
