Superb! Could not fault anything. Service was outstanding, food and drinks stunning. Had a lovely evening.

What can I say this was probably one of the best setting to have a date night with my wife a really cosy atmosphere really nice food and the service was excellent too really friendly and at the right price food was high quality and plentiful we left stuffed anyway lol I can highly recommend and we will be back too

A family party of 10 of us went for a meal. We all had starters and a main course,,as we had taken a birthday cake we never had dessert. The food was amazing, piping hot,and served on hot plates. Excellent service,all meals brought out of the kitchen within seconds of each other. The only venue we have had food where every meal was spot on . Thank you to the wonderful staff.

The food as always was superb. Staff, even though it was very busy, were as always, polite, friendly, smiling and very professional with no waiting for food or drinks. Atmosphere is great with a wide range of ages, it's perfect for everyone

Had a meal here with my 14 year old granddaughter and a friend. We booked as late afternoon as we could ie 1.30pm. Our food was first class beautifully cooked / very tasty and hot. Staff were very attentive ensuring we had everything we wanted. It was a very relaxing meal in beautiful surroundings. I would gladly recommend this restaurant. Thank you

Lively, convivial atmosphere with great food and excellent service

The Shepherds Rest is a firm favorite if I am ever in the area with family. Mum appreciated the "Smaller Plates" and had a wonderful lightly battered fish and rustic jumbo chips. I went for the enormous Surf and Turf which was dripping in garlic butter and a staggeringly delicious abundance of salt and pepper chips. My son had the shepherds pie and whilst we weren't expecting a whole lamb shank (as others were below) we were expecting something more substantial in line with the other meals. However, it tasted delicious and I had more than enough to share mine with him. We couldn't resist home made crumble and custard for dessert and were supplied extra custard happily upon request. The crumble topping was amongst the best I have had being not to sweet, nice and crunchy and a perfect ratio of crumble to apple.

Family get together at Loft, we had a great afternoon. Well looked after as always.

Fabulous meal last night, the food was absolutely delicious and the staff did a great job too. My husband ate from the specials menu, which he couldn't stop raving about the prawn starter and cod main and I had the normal menu, i highly recommend the beef shin ravioli. Look forward to our next visit.

A warm welcome on entering and shown straight to our table. The food as before was beyond expectations. Fresh good quality food served every time. Super friendly service and great setting.

We returned to the Lunesdale on Saturday for lunch. Love the new decor. The meal was superb and the service was excellent. Well done team and thankyou.

I booked a table of 10 for my wife's retirement. The ease of booking was superb and pleasant. The meals were all reasonably priced and the menu was fully extensive and something for everyone. The drinks were also good, the Unicorn Cask ale was the best I have had this year. Staff at the establishment was polite, willing and accommodating and I can thoroughly recommend. We will be back again soon

The food at Lunsdale arms is outstanding. We have been visiting this restaurant for some time now. Lovely atmosphere and excellent service as always.
