Lovely evening catching up with friends, good wine & tasty food

I visit this place often and it never disappoints. The food is consistently outstanding. Every meal I’ve had has been absolutely delicious. The specials change regularly, offering a great variety, and everything tastes homemade with high-quality ingredients. The steak and Stilton pie is a personal favourite. Every time friends and family visit for Manchester I always recommend this place. The staff are always warm and welcoming. It’s such a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. It’s also great value for money, with reasonable prices for such high-quality food. They even do a lunch meal which for two courses is well worth the money. The entire place is kept very clean, including the tables and toilets, which is always appreciated. The beer garden has stunning views, making it an even more enjoyable spot to dine. The hills look lovely in the day and even more beautiful in the night. I genuinely hope this place stays open for many years to come.

First visit to the Griffey, very friendly and the owner made us very welcome. The food was very good and at a reasonable price. Definitely recommend.

Amazing food & service as always.

First visit to the 3 Millstones in West Bradford. It was an excellent meal and all four of us enjoyed the food. Served promptly and on hot plates which makes such a difference. The food was well cooked and presented on lovely crockery. Loved the fresh homemade bread prior to our meal. One of our party suffers with Coeliac disease and the waiting staff observed the requirements extremely well. The waiting staff on arrival greeted us and gave us a choice of tables, they were friendly and polite throughout. A nice relaxed atmosphere in a well appointed restaurant. Will certainly return and it’s only 25 mins from home.

Excellent value lunch menu. Lovely friendly service. Be prepared to wait a while for your food, but it is all cooked fresh to order.

Just love this little place . Warm welcome from staff - spotlessly clean - prompt service and food was delicious- just wanted a simple egg and bacon on toast - not on the menu but abs no problem - just so tasty and lovely presentation … highly recommend

We recently had a lovely evening at the Lunesdale. We were greeted with a lovely smile as we ordered our drinks. The pub had been recently refurbished and looked lovely. The toilets are spotless and smelt very fresh. The staff were very friendly and nothing was any bother. I found it difficult to choose from the menu as everything sounded delicious. Thank to all for making our wedding anniversary feel very special.x

Excellent service, staff superb, food first class

Fantastic food and a great menu choice. The portion sizes are large to, so make sure that you're hungry! Service is excellent by the lovely staff. We'll definately be back next month.

Did the £6:90 any pizza or pasta on a Tuesday night absolute quality in a gorgeous setting….but I’d recommend you book

We ate here for the first time on Sunday after a friend recommended it. We opted for a late lunch and ordinarily I probably would have choose the Sunday roast but wanted to try 3 courses and I knew I would struggle to do that with roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding. Opted for Hamhick terrine, crispy beef salad and creme bullet. It was by far the best food we have eaten out locally in a long time. Excellent. The service was great and the surroundings very comfortable. We will definitely return soon and would recommend highly.

We raved about you to our friends and took them on Sunday but we were so disappointed with the service, one of the girls was very rude when serving us. We sat with empty glasses, you could have sold us at least another 3 drinks. It was very quiet and there was plenty of staff, if it had been busy, I could understand but it wasn’t. The food was absolutely gorgeous, could not fault it, credit to the kitchen staff.

Went for my birthday on a Sunday evening at 6pm. Seated promptly, and drinks order was taken shortly after. I am gluten free, and the staff really knew their stuff and were very accommodating. Sunday Roast was amazing, the best I'd ever tasted and the pea and ham soup for starters has so much flavour it was delicious. I would highly recommend Bread and Butter. Staff were so friendly and welcoming, I will definitely be back soon.

We booked a table for two at short notice. On arrival it was clear that the restaurant was extremely busy and clearly very popular for a Sunday lunch. On our last visit we were given a table in the elevated area of the conservatory but on this occasion we were shown to our table at the far end of the restaurant which is a little more rustic and has more of a bar feeling than the main dining area. However given our booking at short notice it was maybe the only option. We ordered the Sunday roast choice but unfortunately the lamb was not as available as they had run out which I guess was the most popular choice of the day. We therefore ordered the beef and the pork with a side of cauliflower cheese. When the food arrived it was well presented with a side of seasonal vegetables and the meat was well cooked and moist accompanied by mashed and roast potatoes. It really makes a change to eat roasted potatoes that do not taste as though they have come from a pre cooked frozen pack and straight into a deep fat fryer which many establishments nowadays feel that it is acceptable to serve . For pudding, given the large portion of the main course, we decided to share the apple and rhubarb crumble but we had to settle for ice cream as they had run out of custard. However despite this the pudding was very good. Overall a very good experience and the service was provided by attentive and courteous staff. A very welcoming place that is thankfully dog friendly and we we definitely return.
