Perfect as always

We were well received by staff. The girls were very friendly and helpful. Food was fresh and delicious. I strongly recommend my friends to have a taste of food and drinks. My wife's cocktail was good too.

Food was incredible had lovely staff greet us and everything was amazing thankyou so much I’m not from here so when I’m back here I will be coming back thankyou again !

Visited the Whitchaff Easter Sunday. Not up to the usual standard. The roast beef was stringy and fatty - a poor cut / joint by any standards. Roast potatoes hard and cauliflower cheese mediocre. Sauce on the salmon and prawn pasta was tasteless and possibly out of a packet. Has put me off going on a Sunday.

This was my 4th time here and I can easily say that I am yet to experience a bad meal, the food here is phenomenal, we had the mussels for a starter and the sauce that goes along with the mussels is to die for. As a main I had the brisket,panceta suet rolly polly, I was unsure what to expect but i was plesantly please the meat melted in your mouth. Thank you, we will be visiting again and we are recommending this place to anyone

Four of us dined at the Shepherds Rest on Friday the3rd April, and we all enjoyed the excellent food we ordered it was really good. The service was also spot on with the friendly and efficient staff. I would recommend the Shepherds Rest to anyone. Thank you.

We came for food yesterday which was amazing as always. We love coming for a meal here as we are always guaranteed to get really good food. Unfortunately yesterday the service wasn’t as good as it normally is so that was a bit of a shame.

Visited mid week to celebrate our youngest son turning 18. They more than coped with the size of our party. Staff were organised, fun and attentive. We all had a great time. Food was exquisite. I would highly recommend a visit to the restaurant. Cant wait to go back.

An absolutely fantastic breakfast—I wouldn’t go anywhere else. The best in the North West, with lovely and welcoming staff.

2nd Time In Little Over A Week:- Once again a fantastic dinner. Delicious quality food, cooked to perfection and the service was excellent. And very competitively priced so really great value. We love this lovely restaurant so we will be coming back as often as we can.
