After a rather long gap due to illness, it was good to return to Into The Blue. Especially good to see that our old favourites : Bouilliabase and Fish Pie were still in evidence ! Although tempted by the new meals on offer, we decided to celebrate our return by indulging in our long term favourites which were lovely and much enjoyed. Thank you Jackie and David.

The Denbigh – BexhillWe went early on Saturday evening and the restaurant was pleasantly busy. A warm welcome from friendly attentive staff. Decent wine list and a good choice of dishes on the menu. Our starters were were very good and the Dover Sole I had for my main course was excellent. A real little gem of a restaurant.

We ordered 2 roast lamb roast dinners. Impressive to look at, and lovely throughout. Quality food at a price that suits. 2 desserts and 3 drinks, just under £85

There are plenty of dishes to choose from and there are even some meat choices for those that don’t like fish. The staff are also so friendly and are very knowledgeable about the food. Into The Blue – Shoreham-by-SeaAttracted by Burns night menu. Food took a while to arrive but the chicken Carnoustie was tasty enough. At £25 per head for two courses not bad VFM. Considering it was a Saturday night the pub was pretty quite. No doubt be back in coming months.
