Great bistro, pleasant staff & great food

First time visiting, the food and service was amazing, would definitely recommend and book again when we are back holidaying in the The Lakes

Beautiful food! King prawns to start were amazing. Both main pasta dishes were delicious too. Great service and atmosphere. We will be back!

First time visiting on a Monday evening, the food, service and atmosphere were great. Enjoyed it so much we booked our second visit on the Wednesday.

A perfect venue for a "genuine pub meal" in a beautiful location. Excellent home cooked food. We had been before and will come again !

Nice and clean .greeted with a welcome .got seated and ordered drinks which came quickley .ordered our food which was very tasty and had a pleasant evening .all the team were very polite and friendly.would recommend.

Lovely pub - very efficient and friendly staff, food was excellent and it was refreshing to have a menu with different and exciting ingredients to the norm. We will definitely be returning - loved it!

Amazing food, the Sunday lunch was delicious

Absolutely loved the Wheatsheaf. The food is really good, served in a wonderful cosy environment and by great staff. I had a menu special on Thursday night and liked it so much that I had it again there the very next evening. Delicious! Lovely people; both staff and other patrons! Highly recommend.

The food, service and atmosphere in the bistro are excellent One of the best meals I’ve had in a while and located in the centre of Grasmere so easy access to other bars and accommodation.

Great little place. This was our 2nd visit and again couldn't fault the service or food. Will definitley be back again next time we're in the area.

We made two bookings. One for Sunday lunch, which was superb. The second for the following Friday evening. The food then was also very good. The service was attentive and friendly. We would certainly recomend and would intend to book again next time we are up there.

Visited 13 feb with my friend from Scotland. We wasn’t keen on the calamari but everything was lovely and the cheeses were delicious. The Wine and the atmosphere was great. Staff were very helpful and provide advice on the wine choices. Food came at a reasonable pace. We stayed along time nibbling and catching up.

Always top quality service, great value for money, and the best food around, will definitely be back! ☺️

We had an excellent time when visiting Sage and Vine. The staff are marvellous and exceedingly helpful. The food is such good quality and very filling. Definitely worth visiting regularly.

What an amazing lunch! My husband surprised me with a meal at Adriano's on Valentine's Day. Our first time there but certainly won't be our last. Food, service and ambience outstanding.
