My wife and I enjoyed a lovely meal here this weekend. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and provided an excellent service. This was our first visit to this lovely restaurant but it will not be our last. Highly recommended.

Have eaten here a number of times and it never disappoints. The food is delicious, especially the lamb, and the service is excellent. You need to book as it gets very busy, and I'd highly recommend you do so soon!

we were booked in at 3pm on our return from the lake district. as we were early going home we phoned to see if they could accommodate us for sunday lunch earlier then we booked . i’m glad to say they couldn’t be more helpful . food was amazing and service excellent. would highly recommend.

It was a very busy night with what looked like a couple of parties going on but the food was excellent, the Venison steak and the pheasant burger were both delicious We have been to this pub quite a lot over the years (our go to place to good quality food) and they never disappoint
