We had a booking for 5th April for my son’s birthday. We called the day before to check that the main menu was available, with it being Easter Sunday and we was told it was. We were greeted well on arrival and served drinks. After 15/20 mins of reviewing the menu, we were asked for our food order, to then be told all starters were off the menu and all burgers. Given half the party wanted a burger and all of us wanted a starter, this was a disappointment. We decided to leave and eat elsewhere. It would have been better to tell us on arrival for future reference.

We were lucky enough to have Easter Sunday lunch here. Roast beef, pork, chicken, the Lamb Henry and Lakeland steak pie were all wonderful. All the food was of the highest quality. Set in a traditional, dog friendly pub with a roaring log fire. We will definitely be back. (Already booked in)

Food was excellent I had the salmon cooked to perfection. My husband had the chicken supreme with a black pudding hash brown something different. Staff are for attentive nothings was too much bother . Well with a visit .

Sunday lunch was excellent and also the Fishcakes ....such a friendly pub and great beer and wine as well. Been here before and will definitely return.

Beautiful, the food was lovely, the only thing is that your mash potato needs more butter and definitely some more seasoning , but everything else was fab

This was out 4th visit for Sunday Lunch and it did not disappoint, I had the macaroni cheese for a change, my husband had the lamb dinner. Both were gorgeous and plentiful and we had a delicious sticky toffee pudding for desert. Friendly, helpful staff

Staff very approachable and friendly. Decor was beautiful. First time visiting and menu was explained. Food was amazing and will definitely come back. Always asking if everything was ok and refilling the water caraffe.

We always come to la mezz for dinner but this time it was for my wife's 60th birthday. The staff couldn't do enough for us even bringing the cake out. We where sat upstairs with lovely views of the citadel . The food as always was amazing 2 of us had risotto which was faultless the prawn dish again was amazing. We will always recommend la mezz

We had two excellent meals here this week. Delicious food. The pork belly and sea bass were particularly good. Friendly atmosphere and very welcoming staff. They accommodated our large group with ease. We’ll definitely come again.

Expensive Pizza with minimal toppings disguised by rocket thrown on top. Disappointing. A nice place though and service and atmosphere were good.

Go for the cheese soufflé alone and be thoroughly impressed by the rest of the menu, the wine, the view , the service , the ambience. Highly recommend!

We always try and visit the Pheasant when we are in Keswick for a few days away. It's a great pub that serves proper pub food and a nice choice of real ales. Always well looked after by all the staff and would definitely recommend if you are visiting Keswick, but you better book in advance as it's always nice and busy.

Lovely Sunday dinner & dog friendly as well. Proper home cooked food, well worth a visit!

Went for a family Sunday lunch. There were 6 of us and we all had a Sunday dinner. The staff could not have done enough for us or our dog. Food was piping hot and absolutely delicious. 100% recommend here for Sunday lunch.
