What a fantastic restaurant! A true gem. Magnificent food, so delicious and even my son Edward (age 4) said they were the best chicken nuggets he’d ever had and INSTISTED we return for dinner the next day… so we did. The food is outstanding. My mother and I had the lamb and the salmon the first night and then steaks the second night. The quality of produce can be tasted and the warm and friendly service is second to none. What a magnificent restaurant. Five stars from us and definitely from Edward! Thanks so much to Amanda and the team at Lewis’. We will be back!!

Exactly what a pub meal out should be like. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly and attentive. The food was excellent and brilliant value for money. Fantastic gem of a pub in Keswick…..highly recommend.

Fantastic food and service. The sharing tapas style dishes are delicious and all freshly made from scratch in house. The pizzas are so thin and the dough is super crisp and tasty. Brilliant and creative choice of toppings. The staff are so friendly and professional. Highly recommend.

This was our first visit to Sage & Vine, but it definitely will not be the last. What a beautiful restaurant with amazing food and fantastic service.

Very friendly welcome upon arrival. Warm and cosy atmosphere. Food was fine but sea bass overcooked, faint Tandoori taste and mushroom starter did lack garlic. Enjoyed the wine. Vegetables nicely cooked.

I visited here with my boyfriend whilst we were on holiday in the Lakes. We thought the food was fantastic and thoroughly enjoyed our meal and wine. The team who looked after us were very friendly and attentive. We will defintely return if in the area.

We had a lovely meal at The Pheasant Inn. Great food, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Dog friendly too.

We had a lovely family meal on Friday 24th October. The atmosphere in the bistro is warm and welcoming and the staff are lovely. The food is great and many of us opted for the tandoori butter seabass for main course which didn't disappoint. I would highly recommend a visit to anyone.

We received a very warm welcome this week. The service was excellent, food was delicious and particularly the Beef Pie dish. My wife thought it was the best beef pie she has ever tasted!! We have booked to return again this week. I would highly recommend! Very good value for money!!

Went for dinner recently double celebration, first the cons, some members of staff could do with a little more trg, a smile and a greeting should be common practice at all stages of the dinning event not just the seating at the table, the red wine should be served at the top end of room temperature for me not the stored temp, dogs do not belong in eating areas my personnel opinion again bars and tap rooms are fine, small details like the serving of the superb morcambe bay shrimps in butter if served in a small container and extracted with a knife to put on the very good bread the butter cannot be melted to liquid if the dish is served in a bowl then liquid butter over the bread is my preffered way. The pros, my wife’s fish and chips were excellent she said, my pie was very good it would have been excellent but there were more button mushrooms than pieces of steak had the ratio been reversed it was 10 out of 10 the pastry was Roux school quality I have not had better, the sauce with the steak and mushrooms was superb, mash perfect. It is a shame we shall not be visiting again because of the dog rule in the dinning area as there is no doubt the chef and kitchen staff are doing a great job the food is very good and it’s our local pub, if you are ok with dogs in the eating area then I would urge you to visit and if you like pie and mash with great pastry then try one.
