I visited the Pheasant Inn with my daughter and her boyfriend to celebrate my 61st birthday. We all had the Sunday lunch. Being 61, I have had a few Sunday lunches in my time and the Pheasant's was right up there with the very best. The beer was also delicious and the service was good.

Had a wonderful evening at The Pheasant last night. Everyone's food was absolutely delicious. Such lovely staff and so accommodating. Unfortunately all of us dining do not live in the area but we will definitely come back when we can, and let anyone we know who is visiting to pop in. Many thanks again.

It's the second time we have eaten at the Pheasant in the last couple of months and both times the meal has been excellent. The first was for the Sunday lunch - a terrific plateful of roast beef etc and then on Friday evening when we both had fish pie which was packed with flavour. Service is always very good and whilst it was still early there was a nice atmosphere.

My husband and I popped in for a quick lunch after cinema and shopping. The bruschetta and risotto were absolutely delicious. My husband loved his chicken with roast potatoes and salad. The staff were lovely, very professional and helpful. The tables and floors were spotless.

Had a really nice meal at the Bell Vue, well cooked, tasty and presented well. Staff were excellent, friendly and attentive. Will be returning.

Two visits to this lovely pub in three days. Very friendly service with delicious food. We had scampi, the salmon, steak and lamb henry over the two visits - all were well cooked, well presented and very tasty.

We booked a table in the restaurant for 7 30. We were told the table wasn't ready and it would be at least 15 minutes or we were told we could sit in the bar area. The table was right next to the bar and the other tables had dogs with them so we said we would rather wait. We were seated at about 7 45 in the restaurant and were surprised to see two empty tables so not sure why we couldn't have been seated at one of those. They weren't set up and no other diners came in. Food was lovely as always and service was good . When we asked for the bill we were the last people in the restaurant area. The waiter brought our bill, along with the card machine and stood over us until we paid the bill making us feel a bit uncomfortable. We got the impression they wanted the restaurant area cleared and customers out. Which is probably why they asked us to sit in the bar area as we were the last diners of the night in the restaurant.We have never experienced this before. Maybe it was the time of year or maybe the manager was off. But not a great impression. It certainly would make us think twice about booking again on our next visit to Keswick.

Our family of 3 adults & a 5 year old really enjoyed our meals at the Pheasant. It is a lovely cosy place & the food was excellent. The staff are really friendly & service was good. They were very kind to our young (very chatty!) grandson even though they were all very busy on a Friday evening. Highly recommended,

Great food, absolutely fabulous service, we will be back! Clean plates all round and sadly no room for a dessert but the choices were awesome!
