There was 9 of us for a meal. I had scallops and garlic bread to start. The sauce with the scallops was beautiful. I had lamb rump for mains and this was lovely. Lots of vegetables on offer. My husband said he would prefer more choice of steak (so he could have a bigger one!). He said his chips were lovely as well as the peppercorn sauce but his steak was more medium well than medium but he didnt mind this. Everyone said they really enjoyed their meal. Service was great even though they were really busy. Drinks were lovely but we only had wine and draft beer. Desserts also great, I had sticky toffee pudding and my husband had cheesecake which he enjoyed. Could not fault it and would highly recommend.

Warm welcome. Cozy,friendly atmosphere. Food amazing. Great choices. Reasonably priced. We had cumberland sausage & meatfree wellington! Which was so tasty. Good portions too. No room for pudding, but they looked yummy. Maybe next time? We have rebooked already! Thankyou

Amazing, the food is stunning and really tasty too. The gravalax was our favourite. The staff are a delight and extremely knowledgeable. The atmosphere and decor is calming and relaxed. We have been many times and will be back many more

arrived on the train from Wigan & everytime we always make a booking. We booked for 12.30 & the food & service again was excellent & did not disappoint . My family & friends have also dined with us in the past & everyone thoroughly enjoyed. It's great to see it so busy

Absolute beautiful food. Everything was perfect. Starter, mains and service especially Maria. The pollo Adrianos was beautiful. Highly recommend this place.

Food was delicious and very generous portions. The best sticky toffee pudding we’ve ever had! Great atmosphere and the staff were lovely. Our only complaint is that the chairs are a little big for the tables. My husband and I struggled to get our legs under which meant we were a bit uncomfortable during our meal. The pub was very busy so didn’t see another table to move to.

WOW!! The best meal I’ve had in Carlisle for a long time! First time going and staff were super friendly and helpful, giving tips on what dishes and how many to order. Super cosy environment, not too overcrowded so can actually feel comfortable when eating and be able to have a convo with each other! Great music too! And the food… most incredible pizza I’ve ever had! Bread sharing platter and tapas were amazing too, everything was delicious! Will definitely be back!
