Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyOur first visit yesterday and won't be our last. Modern and classy surroundings. Brilliant attentive service. Lovely food - very good portion sizes and very tasty. Plenty of choice. We would definitely visit again.
Maxy Farm Pantry & Restaurant – Preston2nd time visiting this establishment. A cozy little pub with a pleasant atmosphere. The food was cooked fresh and was piping hot. Definitely worth a visit.
The Plough At Eaves – PrestonExcellent food & excellent service, will definitely go again soon
Maxy Farm Pantry & Restaurant – PrestonGreat choice on the menu and food is excellent. Service was great and prompt and we didn’t feel rushed. The only thing that lets this pub down is its low/no alcohol offerings. Doesn’t even show on drinks menu. Other pubs now have at least a draft no alcohol lager, ipa and Guinness. As the driver, I asked what there was and was told bottles of Heineken 0. Didn’t even mention Guinness 0 ( which was stocked). Times are a changing so need to catch up!!
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallAnother lovely evening spent at A’Vucciria, food was fabulous and the service was perfect. Shout out to Sam and Will who looked after us. We will be back soon.
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallThe food is totally amazing,
The Plough At Eaves – PrestonAnother delicious meal at our favourite restaurant. Warm and welcoming with excellent friendly service and excellent value for money!
3 Millstones Inn – ClitheroeFood was amazing as always and different choices to choose between, all served hot and looked very delicious and tasted even better , staff all professional and cheerful , would highly recommend
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyBooked for 5 people for Sons birthday. Had a few drinks then ordered food. Food, as always was fab. Service could have been so much better. It was Thursday night and it’s Jan so fairly quiet but it was obvious the staff just wanted us gone. We ordered a few dishes to begin with then, two we’re not received and we had to remind the waitress who apologised and made sure we got them. We then ordered a few more dishes, as is the way with small dishes rather than ordering all at once. When these were finished we then ordered a few more, this seemed to annoy the waitress even though it was only 8.30 and she had already told us the kitchen closed at 9. Shame really as spending over £300 in January you would have expected better. Had made a note on booking that is was my Sons birthday and they brought him a wooden board with icing sugar on saying happy birthday, slightly embarrassing and a little stingy, probably would have been best to bring nothing would be my suggestion. Can’t ever fault the food but the service was poor at best.
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallFantastic beef brisket special 5*
Bread and Butter – PrestonAnother great evening Fantastic staff and fantastic food as always
Papa Luigis – ChorleyFantastic food as always. Had the early diner which is great value. I had the Cod which was delicious Staff are so friendly even when very busy. Great atmosphere.
Papa Luigis – ChorleyA delightful lunch at Bread and Butter. This was my second visit and was just as good as the first. Lovely food, charming and unhurried service means return visits are a certainly.
Bread and Butter – PrestonFood was amazing. Couldn't fault the service either. We had a lovely time.
A’Vucciria – RawtenstallLovely food and service was good. It’s a great place to spend time catching up with friends like we did. Very busy for a Tuesday night which added to the atmosphere. Only tiny (very tiny) niggle, it didn’t ruin the evening , was we couldn’t get oat milk ( due to allergies) for a coffee/tea.
Papa Luigis – ChorleyCame here for the first time on monday, the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere was nice and the food was outstanding. We do not live in the area but will definitely drive out to have a meal here again!
Quattro’s – OrmskirkSo just to be clear this was one of my favourite italians. We went yesterday 6pm and i got the scallops and chorizo for starter and its the most expensive starter. So tiny the portion like 3 tiny tiny scallops and 4 tiny tiny tiny pieces of chorizo. I got the Lasagne for main and its never a proper one with layers its like beef ragu. It was ok Just extremely disappointed as the last couple of times its not been that great. The garlic bread with cheese was superb though.
