The meal was absolutely delish. Garlic mushrooms starter was very tasty indeed, my friends starter was yummy too. My main of fish and chips was absolutely spot on. When asked for extra tartare sauce and for assistance the staff went above and beyond. A love ambience and a beautifully decorated establishment, nice and warm and cosy. We will be returning to try other exciting sounding dishes. Thank you for a splendid first visit The Witchaff.

Can’t recommend The Traders Arms enough. If I could give more than 5 I would. The food is all freshly cooked and the menu has something for everyone. From traditional dishes to specials for the more adventurous. I’m working my way through the menu! Each and every member of staff deserve recognition. We are always greeted with a warm and friendly welcome and Amy special requests are granted without question, Even on the busiest of Sunday lunch times. A real home from home feel.

Always guaranteed delicious freshly prepared food with good friendly service in a nice atmosphere. A varied menu with vegetarian options and a good wine choice . Highly recommend a visit

I booked a table for five at 12-00 on a Wednesday. They were aware of the booking and we were quickly shown to our table. Both starters and mains arrived in good time. The service was good and attentive and we all enjoyed the food. The servings were all a good size. I would go again. The heating could have done with being set a little warmer.

Once again, fantastic!! My friend, and I, visit whenever we can, for a catch up. Love the food, the friendly atmosphere and the wonderful staff. The same lady serves us whenever we go and she is brilliant! Smiley, chatty, helpful..not sure of her name, but I would love her to be recognised for her customer service. Hoping this will get back to her. Keep up the good work..Highly recommended...

Great food., great service.

Service was fabulous with good quality food. The only downside was …it was cold in the restaurant . We couldn’t take our coats off (lunchtime)

Had drinks here lots of times, but not the food. Gave it a try & have been twice in the last month. Food is so nice & you get chance to try lots of small plates. The service is brilliant, staff are so attentive. A very welcoming & friendly place. Big choice of wines too.

Took our grandchildren there for lunch, they, like us were very happy by the variety on the menu and the food was excellent> Cost wise was good and all enjoyed the meals we got.

Very busy due to school holidays, good took quite a time to come out, good was hot and well cooked. But dismayed at seeing a member of kitchen staff serve some good to a table wearing an outside gilet, a flat cap, no gloves and no apron, environmental health would not want to see that in a good area, needs to wear correct clothing.

We took our 2 young granddaughters on Monday 16/02/26 . Well what can I say. The meals my husband and I ordered were absolutely delicious and great portions. So much so I had to take some home with me. The granddaughters meals went down a treat . Especially as one of them is a very picky eater and the offer that was on was brilliant. Nice to be able to treat them once in a while. We would highly recommend the Plough to other families. Unfortunately I can't give a proper review as the table won't let me. food 5/5 atmosphere 5/5 service 5/5 and value for money 5/5.

Our favourite pub in the area for tea out and a few beers. And again we weren’t disappointed. Pies to die for. My husband’s appetite is not as good as it used to be, but again nothing left on his plate. Service excellent, staff attentive and respectful. Beer well looked after.
