Food was absolutely excellent but unfortunately the draught pipes hadn't been flushed through after cleaning and the lager had chemicals in.

3 Millstones Inn – ClitheroeHad a 60th birthday for 17 people.. the owners and bar staff were brilliant.....so very accommodating to our needs. Lovely private area was a bonus.. Food absolutely excellent as was the service. Definitely recommend. Very pleased customer
The Shepherds Rest Inn – TodmordenMy children are not fond on roasts so this was a perfect place on a Sunday night for a family dinner. Everyone liked the food and the service was great.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkThe best pizzas around. Great service, friendly chilled atmosphere. One of our two pizzas was delayed no more than a couple of minutes yet immediately we were offered a free drink/bowl of olives/ dessert. That is top class customer care.Highly recommended.
Site Pizzeria – TodmordenI love the Whitchaff, consistently good food. Staff are always lovely. I had steak and stilton pie with chips and mushy peas, it's amazing, my friend had a selection of dishes. Cannot praise them enough
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallLovely venue, lovely decor. Nice atmosphere. Always spoilt for choice with the menu, too many dishes to choose from that we have to keep returning .Highly recommend. Worth the 30 mile drive each visit
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallThis lovely moorland pub has been a family favourite for years, we enjoyed a cracking Sunday roast, plenty of good food, great service and wonderful views.
The Shepherds Rest Inn – TodmordenWe came here for the first time and had food in the bar area which was very nice staff was very helpful and the food was as good as it gets , this place has been recomended to us so many times to us and we eventually came and will definatley be back again.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallAte on Sunday 1st February. Food, service and staff were all excellent as ususl. Best restaurant around these parts for sure
Quattro’s – OrmskirkWe love the Lunesdale Arms and we always come here when we are visiting our son at Lancaster University. The meal is of very high quality and the service is too. There is a very good selection, meat and fish dishes and pasta all delicious and a very varied starter menu. Love the fantastic array of puddings wheeled out on the portable menu. the ambience is always good and its great to finish off with a game of snooker too.
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleThe food and service were fine but wheelchair accessibility not great. The cobbles in front of the door were very difficult to negotiate in a wheelchair and the disabled toilet is too small and there’s a wall jutting out right in front of it! A more thoughtful approach to disabled access at this pub is needed I think.
The Waterwitch – LancasterWe had a tough time choosing between the tempting tapas and the bar menu, but in the end, we went with classic Fish and Chips and the Pie of the Day. For starters, we enjoyed the soup with croquette and Duck parfait – both were exceptional in both presentation and taste! The fish and chips were fantastic too, with light, crispy batter and amazing fish. The cheese pie of the day was beautifully presented, but whilst everything accompanying was fab the pie filling was a little underwhelming in taste in comparison to all of our other dishes. Overall, we had a great experience and will definitely be back soon to try the tapas menu!
CDJ Riverside Bar and Kitchen – DarwenI recently ate here with my family. The pub is so cosy, with a lovely log burner and decor throughout. The food was amazing, and the service fantastic. I only tip when warranted, and was more than happy to give a tip at the end of the evening. I genuinely cannot recommend this place enough and will absolutely be returning in the near future.
3 Millstones Inn – ClitheroeThere was a lot of choice on the menu, with both traditional pub food and a varied ‘specials’ menu. The food was delicious and well presented. The dining area was spacious and the atmosphere was friendly. The staff were welcoming and attentive. The food was competitively priced and represented value for money. I will definitely return and I will recommend The Whitchaff to family and friends.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallThe usual friendly welcome and service and easily booked on line too!Food was excellent, hot and tasty as we have come to expect. The surroundings are relaxing and clean as are the immaculate toilets. All in all a lovely break from ‘normal’ life
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallI love Brizola, it never ever disappoints.
