We visited for Sunday lunch, not having been in the inn for some 20+ years. The Crook hand pump ale was excellent. Sunday lunch consisted of roast beef with roast and mash, yorkshire pudding and vegetables and lashings of superb gravy. The beef was wonderful, as good as any that I have eaten and very much better that lots. This was a beautiful plate of food, served in a timely manner by very helpful staff. I would, and will, be very pleased to go back to try it again.

Visited here at the weekend as we were staying in the area. Overall very disappointing- firstly they couldn't find our reservation then we were seated and waited over 30 minutes to get menus. During this time there was an altercation between the ?manager and 2 ladies who had complained about the food being cold. The way this man shouted at the customers was dreadful. At least 3 other tables who arrived after us were served and eventually after about an hour we got our food which wasn't very hot. Meat very fatty, vegetables over cooked and roast potatoes reheated/refried. Extra gravy came in a ramekin as opposed to a gravy boat that other tables got. There was an offer on for 2 meals for £20 which was just as well as we would not have paid the £18.50 per head! Staff were disorganised with only one seeming to know what was going on. Whilst we were waiting for our food the chef was in the bar chatting to someone. We did express our disappointment in the food but nobody came to talk to us about it. Given the attitude of the manager to previous customers it was a blessing in disguise I suppose

Took my cousin here for her birthday treat. She is a real foody and thought this could have been a Michelin star restaurant. The tapas menu was brilliant, a nice steady service of foods arrived, all cooked to perfect and delicious. Staff were lovely and attentive, I would say that some lack a bit of personality (hate to sound rude but some could crack a smile). The bar staff were really lovely when we moved to the bar section after food and enjoyed a few tasty cocktails to finish the evening. Looking forward to returning again soon.

Amazing food as always. We were last here for my daughters 7th Birthday (who choose Quattro’s for her birthday) 5 people, everything was exceptional. They also made a big fuss over Charlotte and made sure she had the best birthday meal ❤️

It was just ok. Friday 7.30pm and tapas and steak menu. Salmon wellington was overcooked and dry. Honey chicken comes as sliders, they were ok. Other things just OK. Staff are very pleasant and polite, venue is pleasant. I had heard good things but IMHO it’s very overrated, overpriced and very very average at best

It was ok. It was tapas or steak menu at 7.30pm on a Friday. The salmon wellington was over cooked and dry. The honey chicken actually comes like a slider, again it was ok. Other bits were just OK. I’ve heard good reviews about this place but IMHO it’s over rated and over priced. Very underwhelming and Very average pub grub. Staff were lovely, the venue is nice. Not sure I’d return

Great food! Great service. Dog friendly. Cheese and onion pie highly recommend.

Love this place, food was outstanding, the chips, well what can I say, the best chips ever. Service was great too and a great atmosphere, will definitely be returning.

Friday night tapas was perfect. Loved the small touches and attention to detail, crockery and glasses all lovely and complement the delicious food. Will definitely return.

Booked last minute for an evening meal on Sunday 19th January. Great welcome, super service and delicious food.

We are fairly regularly visitors and rhe food is always top notch. Great service from the staff too. And a lovely drive through the Lune Valley from Lancaster to get there. What more could you possibly want?

Absolutely amazing. Our daughter has a sesame and hazelnut allergy. On arrival we were given a menu that was highlighted in 2 different colours, showing which foods had or may contains these foods. Put our mind at rest straight away. The food was lovely as always and the service were great . Highly recommended.

Such a pleasant experience from the quality of the food to the first class service. Twelve dishes, twelve clean plates! They couldn’t be faulted ☺️ Only negative was that our table was in a very draughty spot with a view of a store room with an empty fridge…?

First visit to Traders Arms , not disappointed at all , friendly welcome , food was very good ,dog friendly which was nice to see , booked in again to try Sunday lunch soon . Highly recommend .

Visited on Saturday 25/01 and we were very disappointed to say the least. We booked a table for 2 and were sat in what I would describe as the “family area” which was very noisy. The table we were sat at was also meant for 4 so was far too big for 2 people and we felt quite a distance apart. Food was ok, wouldn’t rate it highly and based on this visit, won’t be returning.
