The Traders Arms – BlackburnA favourite restaurant for my friends and I. Always exceptional service and always delicious food. Great atmosphere, friendly staff and charming venue.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkLovely place, good atmosphere. Staff friendly and accommodating. Food was excellent, had a bit of a wait for it to arrive, but the wait was worth it. A little pricey but for top notch food we couldn't complain. Will definitely return.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallAll 6 of us enjoyed the excellent food. The friendliness of the staff made it an even greater pleasure. They were thoughtful and charming; a lot of restaurants don't seem to understand what a difference this makes. We'll definitely be going back.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkFinsley Gate Wharf has become a firm favourite for myself and friends to meet up and have a catch up with each other. The food is great and reasonably priced. The staff are lovely and go above and beyond to help in any way they can, making you feel welcome. They're attentive but never rush you. The surroundings are lovely, (especially if you're lucky enough to visit on a nice weather day in the summer). There really is nothing to dislike. Thanks to everyone there who make it what it is.
Finsley Gate Wharf – BurnleyLovely food and atmosphere. It was very much enjoyed. The only thing was the service was a little slow towards the end of the meal (it became quite busy) so we missed out on coffee as had to leave. I will visit again as I thought it was lovely
Bread and Butter – PrestonExcellent food and friendly prompt service. I am always irritated by the offer of Pepsi, when I ask for Coke - they are NOT the same and any pub or restaurant should offer both. Nobody ever asks for Bacardi and Pepsi, they ask for Bacardi and Coke! I ask for Coke, but then have to choose something else because the management have decided to offer only Pepsi. Or maybe Pepsi have done a shady deal to force the pub to accept their product. This is unfair competition and should be abolished.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallWe have eaten here many times since 2018 this is the only time I have experienced some issues with the food we had ordered 2 well done steaks they came out rare when asked if they could be cooked further this was not a problem however left plates with juices on & took steaks on a spatula we were told chef was cooking 2 “fresh” steaks however both original steaks came back out they were cooked better but very dry meat quality not as good as remember previously waiting staff very pleasant just few issues making it not as good experience as I’ve had before
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleThis restaurant is one of our favourites and I think we may be classed as regulars. However last evening, the 5th December, we were disappointed. We both ate fish pie, which looked and tasted like it had been made days ago and reheated. Dry and tasteless. We mentioned our disappointment when asked at the till but there was no recourse
Lunesdale Arms – Kirkby LonsdaleWent to Verdes again for tea on Friday evening , outstanding yet again, food was lush, service was 1st class. Manager made us feel very welcome. We will be attending again very soon. Highly recommended, Christmas tunes playing ,great atmosphere.
Verdes Restaurant – ChorleyLove coming here, the food is delicious especially the steak and Stilton pie, There is a great menue choice, the bakewell tart is gorgeous. The staff are very friendly and it's a atmosphere.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallGreat venue with a fab atmosphere. The staff so welcoming with a nothing is too much trouble attitude. The pizzas are the best in Chorley. Great value for money.
Rileys Loft – ChorleyBrilliant food as always . Lovely friendly staff.
The Hapton Inn – BurnleyWe both felt like a change from pizza so we ordered other things from the menu. We had a starter, main course and dessert and all were delicious with generous portions. Lovely atmosphere, efficient service, staff ensured we were happy with everything. A gem of a place.
Papa Luigis – ChorleyExcellent service and food. Brought our own Birthday cake which they brought out singing happy birthday to my husband . Fabulous evening thank you .
Quattro’s – OrmskirkSuper service and fabulous food as always
