Once again, a great dining experience- lovely food, attentive and personable staff- we had a fabulous time. Thank you.

Took my niece for lunch on Saturday with a friend and had a fabulous time - great staff who were friendly and helpful, wonderful pizza (and I'm not really a pizza fan) and just so good to relax and enjoy our time together. Service was faultless, with food delivered as it was freshly made - and so delicious. My niece is going to take her hubby there soon as she enjoyed it. And we will be back soon.

I had the gammon, which was excellent, and the sticky toffee pud was to die for. My wife had the steak pie, and although the meat was very tender with lovely pastry on top I'm afraid the base was uncooked and doughy. The overall experience however was very nice and staff really pleasant.

Staff lovely, pleasant surroundings. We had soup of the day which was nice if lacking in the amount served. It was very stingy.

Went here for a meal after a wedding, the staff was brilliant, they let us decorate the tables for when the bride and groom arrived , the food was good and came out hot . Great day had by all of us.

Good to see the Lunesdale back - as good as before, if not better. The lamb was superb. Everything was excellent!

Usual friendly service, varied menu, trio of deserts was a nice addition. Only criticism was 3 out of 7 mussels in seafood linguine were not open, I have been promised them next time I visit

Excellent service very cheerful atmosphere

Nice atmosphere although we were a bit cold as there seemed to be a draft from the door. The food was quite nice, I had rump steak. The fat chips are a bit too fat but the steak was nice. I also had the salted caramel brownie which was so delicious. I’d say compared to London prices, where I live it’s average. In response to another reviewer who referred , quite rudely, to the student bar staff as children - I disagree they were not surly at all however maybe a little more liveliness/warmth in their welcome would be appreciated

What a place! From the minute you walk in, this place is incredible. The design of the restaurant is gorgeous. The staff are very attentive and friendly. Now the best bit... the food is some of the best we've ever had. We could not fault a thing when we visited with family mid-week. The menu has a great choice and there is something for everyone. Even the kids meals were impressive. We would highly recommend and will definitely be visiting again. Well done to Dan and team for bringing class and great food to Darwen!

We feel very lucky this kind of restaurant usually only found in big cities and at much higher price is down the road from us in Lower Darwen! That it was full on a Wednesday lunchtime says it all. Great cocktails, lots of food choices to suit everyone in our wider family. The best vegetarian meal I’ve ever eaten (beautifully presented beetroot petivier). We really liked the open kitchen with the head chef at the pass. When the bill came we did a double take, such high quality special food for less than our local Italian. We will definitely be back

Fab staff , fab food , great price

Amazing food, just a bit slow clearing, I struggled to order desserts/coffee and get the bill so I had to get up to attract someone's attention. I'd definitely return as the food is outstanding.

Friendly service and a busy restaurant. The food was excellent. A very succulent burger and a tasty steak pie. Also very good value for money. Would definitely recommend!

My first visit to The Trawden Arms. I loved the atmosphere, the waitress was very attentive, helpful and friendly. The food was really nice. Will definitely be visiting again

The food was exceptional and the premises themselves are very pleasant and contemporary. Prices are very reasonable for the quality on offer. The service could have been better in some respects (there were delays with drinks being brought to the table and in taking our orders), but the restaurant was particularly busy at the time. Will definitely be coming back!

Family of 4 for Sunday evening meal food lovely as was the service.
