Loved the atmosphere & setting. Really enjoyed our nibbles wine & starter. Didn’t enjoy the mains as much.. found them over flavoured for our taste - especially the rump steak which was obviously fantastic quality meat. Service was nice.

Fantastic restaurant. We've been to Verdes a few times now and can't fault it. Great value for money, delicious food and a great service. Excellent little find if you're looking for good food at very reasonable prices.

Excellent lunch. One member of the party is on an elimination diet. They were very accommodating making food just for them. The service was above and beyond. Would recommend to all.

We had different meals and both were delicious, fish and chips and sausage and mash. The dessert menu was delicious too. Excellent service and nothing too much trouble. We will be back!

Had a lovely lunch yesterday with a friend. The food was tasty, well presented and good value. Service was good too - our only minus was that it was a little cold but then we are two over 70s ladies so feel cold easily. We enjoyed our time and will definitely be back.

Hello! myself & two friends had lunch at Planks this week. We all opted for the ‘ deli bowl’ . It was absolutely delicious. We all agreed that it was excellent value & seemed like a healthy option, plenty of greens, amazing flavours & no stodgy bread! We went on to eat equally delicious cake with our coffee. Excellent service, choice and food as usual at the Lunesdale. Great atmosphere fab place

Not as enjoyable as our last meal, which was pre-Covid. Restaurant prices but you have to order at the bar. The service was good. The starter and the main course were good also but the main course was very sub-par. Lamb shank that hadn’t quite been cooked enough, and had been heated up in the microwave , fairly uninteresting gravy, well overcooked vegetables and the mashed potatoes were just cheap and nasty. At £21.99 for the lamb, I would’ve expected better. Rather a shame as we were out for our anniversary: our first date was at the Waterwitch.

We had lunch yesterday and as always, it was fantastic. The service is friendly and efficient and the restaurant is comfortable. The menu may be on the smallest side but the specials look delicious. I had my usual, salt and pepper chicken burger, which is so tasty . I’m going back for Sunday lunch this weekend… can’t wait!!

Beautiful setting, with lots of ambience. The steak, date night was spot on, Could have done with a bit more salad though. Even though it was just house wine, it was perfectly enjoyable. Service was excellent, very attentive and professional. Highly recommended.

Another fabulous trip to Brizola ...the food was delicious and the service great ..whats not to like .

Superb food - consistently. Staff are really friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble. Smashed avocado on sourdough is the best around. Gets busy at weekends so make sure you book.
