Went there on a date last night, Brilliant food, staff were very friendly, was a great place for a first date Highly recommended

Arrived at 6.45pm and ordered Burger and fries x 2 with the lovely waiter. A few moments later the waiter came back to advise there were no beef burgers or fries left unfortunately. We did pick other items, my friend a pizza, we asked if the pizza was avaliable and yes was answered by the waiter, however he then said we can have the flat bread from the starter menu...so unsure if pizza was actually avaliable. When the food arrived it was lovely and fresh, no complaints. Service was amazing, just a bit dissapointed that of all things, it was fries that were not avaliable.

Great tasty meal, fantastic service and lovely atmosphere. We meet here as a family every December for our annual family catch up and there is never a single thing we can fault. The food is delicious (possibly the best chicken burger I’ve ever had, fully recommend the panko garlic and paprika chicken burger!) staff are always helpful, friendly and efficient. And the atmosphere is lovely and warm. See you next December!

Really enjoyed our lunch at The Whitchaff. Delicious food as usual although coffee was a little disappointing.. Would highly recommend for food quality and ambiance.

Starter, chefs take on Scotch Egg was great! 5 stars for that. Portion size was on the larger size for starter and main. Staff were on the ball and provided the right level of service in a really professional way. 2x Rib Eye steak were tasty, stronger flavour than I was excepting but a little chewy, and in my opinion over done for the ‘medium’ request - I’m being picky though because it’s a £30 steak! Good enough not to complain about to the staff but an upper medium rated rib eye.

Maxy Farm is the best place to meet with friends and family for a catch up. Easy to book. The BESSST food but more importantly, always the friendliest welcome and service from Rob, Georgie and their Team. Great Menu. Fair pricing. Always a fab experience Thank you Team Maxy !!

Another very enjoyable evening. Excellent meal in very pleasant surroundings, served by friendly, helpful and professional staff.

Food was lovely, staff rushed us and kept trying to clear our table when we were still eating and drinking, felt this was very rude and we didn't feel we wanted dessert or to stay any longer, very disappointing.

The four of us had a great night. We all found our meals to be delicious, excellent food. Lovely, friendly staff. The food arrived quickly. Great atmosphere.

We had a fabulous family meal for Sunday lunch at the Whitchaff! Considering there were 15 of us, the food came out all together and it was delicious! All of the staff we dealt with, both during the booking process and on the day, were so friendly and helpful. It was an absolute pleasure - thank you!

Another lovely few hours celebrating upcoming Christmas with work colleagues. The sparkling wine flight was lovely. We had a selection of nibbles finished off with the Christmas cocktail which was delicious. Atmosphere and all staff superb.

Excellent breakfast menu, nothing too much trouble. Did not feel rushed and can recommend.

A Saturday afternoon visit instead of our usual Sunday outing but the food standard, quality and quantity was the same. Most tables were occupied ,some large family, so service was slower as expected but nothing excessive or worrying. When delivered the food was all very appealing and really tasty, with great portion sizes perfect for a wet afternoon, but just about left room for the small pudding & coffee offer. Competitive prices and the food standards make this always a favourite for a repeat visit.

Great evening. The vegetarian sharing platter was huge and tasted amazing. The atmosphere was warm. The staff were lovely. I will be back.

Yesterday we enjoyed a wonderful lunch along with two other members of our family. Service was spot on, the food was excellent and good value for money. Nothing at all to complain about !

Fantastic from start to finish. Service was just perfect, just enough interaction and chat, without it feeling too much. Food was absolutely fantastic, the special of scallops was to die for! The chocolate orange dessert cocktail was so tasty. Will definitely be back!
