3 Millstones Inn – ClitheroeLovely friendly staff , and excellent food at a proper price .
The Hapton Inn – BurnleyAmazing stay
3 Millstones Inn – ClitheroeIt’s been a little while since we have been here, and the food seemed so much nicer. It was a busy Friday service- even at 5.30 but service was friendly and efficient. We opted for a shared bread and dips starter, then meals of pasta, chicken dishes and a seafood linguine. All of the food was delicious. Seasoning could have been upped a little on my chicken dishes , but I guess that is down to personal taste. An enjoyable evening, and the price was very reasonable too. Will definitely return.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkWe love coming here Sam and the rest of the staff are fantastic. Lovely people all of them. Had a great night but food wasn’t as good as normal but they was ultra busy.
Quattro’s – OrmskirkFood and service were excellent. Visited on 28/2 26 for my birthday. Great choice .
The Traders Arms – BlackburnExceptional as always. Never disappointed when we visit the 3 Millstones which is local to us . Food is 5* Service excellent Great value
3 Millstones Inn – ClitheroeGenuinely one of the strangest restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. We were ignored for the first five minutes while multiple staff members wandered around the floor, and it honestly felt like everyone was on their very first shift — like opening day chaos or some kind of undercover boss prank. The staff behaviour was incredibly odd and quickly became really irritating. People kept hovering silently around tables without actually speaking, appearing out of nowhere and then disappearing again. There was zero communication between them — we were asked about desserts three different times by three different people after already saying not yet. It felt like nobody knew what anyone else was doing, and the constant interruptions became genuinely annoying. The whole atmosphere was uncomfortable rather than welcoming, and by the end of it we felt more irritated than relaxed. We were sat in the middle of the restaurant with the sun blinding us, and when we asked to move, we were offered an even worse table, which just added to the frustration. Service felt confused, disorganised and honestly quite unsettling. The food unfortunately matched the experience — bland, disappointing, and not worth putting up with the annoyance. Overall: very strange staff, uncomfortable atmosphere, and poor food. Definitely won’t be back.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallMum and I would like to thank the wonderful team at work yesterday for their kindness and patience as we were delayed sitting at our table. We had a delicious meal each, we’ll return when we can and will recommend Maxy‘s Farm Pantry & Restaurant to everyone.
Maxy Farm Pantry & Restaurant – PrestonHi, We came to the restaurant for the third time, but appears to have gone slightly down hill? Service was really slow, including delivering drinks. We waited about an hour from ordering starters to receiving the main meal. The main lady grafting and always cheerful, seemed she running around alot and the young lad didn't connect and didn't raise a smile. The food was very Luke warm and the sirloin steak that came with the mushrooms and beans tasted a bit of a strange combination? Too sweet. Steak was also rare and not medium rare. Plates were cold which didn't help. Sorry, a bit put off. Not sure if there has been a change of chef and not enough staff maybe. We shall try again, but will leave for a bit.
The Whitchaff Inn – RawtenstallVisited Traders Arms 27/02/2026 for family celebration Staff were all very good especially Ash.
The Traders Arms – BlackburnQuatros is amazing food is always delicious staff are so friendly we never have to wait everything on time we go every week
Quattro’s – OrmskirkThe staff are lovely, especially the young woman that works there she is a credit to you. We had a choice of seats which was good for our family. Breakfast was ok, most of the produce seemed to be great quality, I personally wasn't a fan of the bacon but others in my party enjoyed it, and there was plenty left so we weren't waiting however it was cold, although it's sat under lamps it wasn't even Luke warm apart from the beans but I think they'd just been replenished. Also we wanted to order extra things but the staff weren't around to ask so had to wait for someone to come through which was around 10 minutes. We were dissapointed as we have eaten here before and the food is always delicious but the buffet style breakfast just wasn't up to that standard at all. It's put us off trying other buffet style events you do.
The Plough Inn – OrmskirkI meet up with friends for lunch at The Traders every couple of months or so. There's always a good, relaxed atmosphere, staff are friendly & helpful and the food is really good & freshly prepared.
The Traders Arms – BlackburnI cannot fault anything, been a few times lately, staff are awesome and the food OMG its perfect, I had the greek dish and the steak frites twice. Steak cooked to perfection and the chicken on the greek dish was amazing, I have never had chicken that good before. Honestly it is well worth a visit you will not be disappointed.
