The food was good and well served. The ambience was exactly what we wanted and we were able to sit and chat for a total of 3 hours (it was a Wednesday). Since we meet only annually this was excellent! But - the bill included a 10% "voluntary" service charge that wasn't drawn to my attention. Who reads their bill in a pub? I have no issue with the overall price - it was excellent value for money - but I want to know if I am paying something voluntarily.

A warm welcome as always and delicious food full of Thai flavours.

Family Sunday lunch, summed up by my mum’s comment, “I need a toothbrush to get the lunch out of my teeth it was so chewy”! Starters were ok but Sunday roasts were the worst I’ve had for a long time. The meat was dry and tough. The beef on my platter of mixed meats looked like the sole of an old shoe. The cabbage mix and broccoli were ok, but the carrot and swede mash were absolutely swimming in water, came half way up the serving bowl! I did feedback to the waitress so I hope that was relayed to the kitchen staff. The 2/5 score is because the starters were ok, otherwise 1/5 for the roasts

Absolutely amazing! Great atmosphere and very kind waitress’s floating round to help! Steak was the best I’ve ever had. The peppercorn sauce was honestly out of this world!

What a lovely evening. With a buzzing atmosphere. Jo, Jamie and the ever entertaining Ross front of house with Chef Dan and Chef Suree heating up the kitchen! Mix starter (prawn toast was yummy), Beef Massaman (x2), Green Chicken, Special Sea Bass, all delightful. The wine list has been the same for too long and is expensive, hope the White Heart address this, modernise a little and think about complimenting Suree's food.

We had a fantastic afternoon tea here on Saturday. We didn't know what to expect BUT I can honestly say we were delighted. The savoury course of sliders, wings and ribs were gorgeous. I could be picky and say that the scones could have been warm and more jam and cream would have been lovely. But 10/10 We're going again soon

This restaurant was highly recommended by a number of friends and locals during our stay. We were fortunate to secure a booking and so glad we did. The hosts gave us a warm welcome in the cosy restaurant and the drinks are served from the bar next door. The food is exceptional and we found the portion size perfect for a three-course meal. Incredible value for a wonderful meal.

Disappointed - we booked on Tuesday for Thursday unfortunately the restaurant had taken in too many walk-in customers so we had to eat in the white hart next door in an empty restaurant very disappointed we were really looking forward to our meal

Had a selection of starters and desserts at Surees kitchen and couldn’t recommend it more. Standout dish was the fried ice cream. The staff were so lovely and the food was excellent. We will be back!
