4 of us ate at Ribeye after Loopfest on Saturday night. The cocktails were lush. We all ordered ribeye and four sides to share. Macaroni cheese, onion rings, beef dripping chips and rocket salad. We chose a beautiful pinot noir to accompany the meal. The food was fabulous, the steaks were so tasty. Our waitress was lovely, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely be returning soon. I fancy Sunday lunch next time. Great value at under £50 pp

Tremendous evening with friends at the restaurant. The food was excellent and very well prepared. Service was great and our hostess was as always attentive.

We have been here a few times and this time the food really wasnt great. Food was tepid and burgers were not good. Bun was soggy. It’s a shame as we have had amazing meals here

We booked an afternoon tea and were welcomed with a smile and an explanation of everything included. The service was excellent, as was the afternoon tea with a difference. A refreshing change from the normal offering and we thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely go again next time we are in the area. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, and couldn't have done more.

One of our party was in a wheelchair - Staff were very helpful (when booking and on the day). We appreciated the option of some small portions and everyone enjoyed their food. Can particularly recommend the chicken strips and beef burnt end starters and the main course fish and chips. Despite being a busy Saturday lunchtime, the service was good. Would go again.

Good food but severely understaffed. I chose to go here as I had read good things about the gluten free options for Coeliacs. The food was very good and our waitress was really helpful. This was until it got busy then it all seemed to go wrong. I had to go and ask for dessert menus despite other tables being asked if they would like desserts. The menus never arrived despite asking again. In the end I just went and paid the bill as we weren’t going to wait any longer. Slightly disappointing as the food was really nice.

Went to the Last for lunch on Friday, the food was excellent. My family had the southern fried chicken burgers with fries and I had the steak and onion ciabatta with fries, wow they were good, and yes will be going back there again.

Advertised as a ‘smoke house’, this is not a smoke house. Burgers aren’t made fresh, tasted supermarket bought. Really disappointed. None of the food reflected the price being charged. Really shocking. Staff however were understanding.

We had lunch, in a group of 4 . The staff were exceptionally friendly and patient, especially as 1 person was delayed by traffic for almost 1 hour. We had 4 different dishes all of which were very good . The " legendary " paella was outstanding and was in fact the reason we had chosen to go to the Queens Head. We We I'll be back.

Beautiful hot food and very attentive staff.

We’ve been before and had good food, but this was a disappointing visit. Of the four meals, one was excellent, two were fine and one was unpleasant. Apparently the burger supplier had changed. I would have expected the burgers to be made in house, not bought in from elsewhere. This burger was reminiscent of school dinners, mushy and no discernible meat. The chips were also basic economy chips, not worth the calories. We were told we were in for a long wait for the food, which wasn’t actually that long, and we were kept informed of the progress of our order. In fact the service was the one saving grace in a mixed evening. There was also unexpected live music, far too loud for the size of the room. If we ever come back, it won’t be to have a burger!

We booked via Groupon and had a great time! We loved the food, very flavourful and good choice. Pudding's were especially good and the waitress made some great recommendations. We enjoyed a cocktail or two as well which were really nice, particularly the passion fruit martini. All in all a lovely evening
