The Golden Ball Inn – TelfordWe had a great time as a party of 10. We all enjoyed our meals and it wasn’t too busy. The only slight disappointment is we were told it would be 30 minutes for deserts after we placed the order. So we had to cancel due to having kids and a baby with us and it was getting late.
The Smokey Cow – TelfordWe had a lunchtime meal for our 2nd visit. Everything was superb, from the 5 tapas style dishes we had to the 2 main meal and sides. The staff are friendly and funny, the location is quirky. I really hope that none of this changes when they move to new premises.

The Golden Ball Inn – TelfordWe made our reservation for 2 about 24 hours before via the link on Facebook but when we arrived they did not have a note of our reservation and said it shouldn’t have allowed us to book. They did find a table for us and the food was very nice and presented well. Tables are close together as it’s a small restaurant so it was quite noisy. Took a while to get our drinks though as these have to be fetched from The White Hart Bar.
