Lovely food for a Saturday night. We shared the burger platter. Arrived on a wooden sharing board (could have done with plates!) chips were really delicious, coleslaw and onion rings too. Couple of cocktails and ciders. Well worth the £60 bill. Definitely recommend as both burgers were delicious. Special shout of to a worker named ‘Jack’ (tall, dark hair) constantly on the go working/glass collecting. Only issue was we found the main room with the music and live band too loud and we couldn’t hear ourselves chatting so had to move outside.

An excellent meal as always. Very attentive team. Great selection of very tasty food! Prices are going up but a sign of the times and happening everywhere.

An excellent addition to Surees Kitchen. Lunch tapas style! Wonderful welcome, superb food and delightful ambiance. Can recommend unreservedly. Enjoy signature Thai dishes, beautifully presented. Be sure to have a dessert! Thoroughly enjoyed the experience and will certainly be back. Thank you!

Awesome cocktail masterclass with the lovely Jess - we made multiple cocktails and enjoyed the tasty food platter which was included. Great value and great fun - would totally recommend!

Really well cooked fresh food- a huge improvement from when we visited a few years ago. Kids meals were very generous and all of our food was great quality. Lovely surroundings with excellent service, very good.

Excellent food and atmosphere. Great choice on the menu and specials. The four of us had something different and every meal was great. Will be back and next time I am heading straight for the Mussels.

Lovely food, good service and the added bonus of some great live music. Visiting just for a couple of days, would recommend for anyone staying in the area.

Excellent from start to finish. We chose five of the Thai tapas dishes and they were all delicious! Had the matcha tea tiramisu and the baileys cheesecake and both were to die for. Will definitely visit again. Thank you Jo and Suree. A very enjoyable afternoon out

We visited for a post wedding bottomless brunch. Service absoloutely amazing. Drinks were amazing. I cannot recommend the overall experience enough.

Excellent Meal

We were a party of 6 celebrating a birthday and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Plates all arrived at the same time and service was exceptional. My fillet steak was cooked to perfection and considering everyone wanted different levels of cooking for their steaks, they were all cooked as instructed so we were all happy and enjoyed the meal.

Genuinely very impressed. We've been looking for a local pub for a hearty Sunday lunch, and we've found one! Kids meals are do or die for me, places that charge adult prices and give fancy restaurant portions are a no no. £10 Sunday roast with all the trimmings, excellent. Plenty of meat all round. The adults roasts also hit the spot, and the puddings were brilliant. Fantastic service from a young gentleman who was very attentive and friendly. Will definitely be back, thank you for a lovely afternoon.

Went for lunch on Sunday, it was nice to have the option of the full menu or a roast. As a table of 4 non of us had a roast dinner, even though they did look delicious. The food was amazing, and service was lovely. Each member of staff that came to our table was polite and had a smile, nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend and will be returning

We visited the Tilley Raven on Sunday 31 May for lunch as a party of 14, 8 adults, 4 children and 2 babies. We were very disappointed as we had preordered our meals for the adults and it still took over one hour to get our main courses. When they arrived, the waitress mixed up a gluten free roast with another meal. My daughter in law who is gluten intolerant was given an ordinary roast. The waitress told us it was gluten free when it arrived.Luckily she checked and called the waitress back to change the meal. As I am sure you realise, this can be very dangerous to mix up intolerances. I would recommend a flag system to prevent this mistake from reoccurring. We would have liked a sweet but despite going to the waitress to ask for sweet menu ,they seemed loath to serve us. After waiting a further 45 minutes, we gave up and decided to leave. On paying the bill. , an older lady took payment and reduced the bill slightly in view of the error with the gluten mistake. Assuming she was in charge, I would have expected an apology but none was forthcoming. In conclusion, it appears the Raven is not really set up for larger parties. In fact we had a meal there on Tuesday 26 May for 6 people and had an excellent meal with good service!!
