Not the best experience - service was very slow, drinks order was forgotten, and had to request if we could order our desserts having waited about half hour for someone to come over. Main meal food wasn’t cooked very well either. Mushy peas were sloppy and watery and fish could have been cooked a little more. Thought we’d try somewhere different in Ironbridge but very disappointing.

Visited again on the 23rd July . Food never fails to please .The people there are so lovely . We will be back again soon

Excellent food, service and atmosphere.

We have now been a number of times to Ribeye. Service and food always first class. Really good quality steak and perfectly cooked and presented.

We visited on the evening of Friday 17 July 2026. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. Our starters were brought to the table in a timely fashion and were very tasty. Our main meals were also excellent. The portions were good and the food was cooked to our liking. We were unable to try the dessert menu as the starters and main courses were very filling. All in all a good experience was had.

Three of us came for a meal was very nice food the tartar sauce should of been separate on the fish and chips as it was smeared on the plate same as the peas and two of us don’t like tartar sauce and the chips was placed onto the sauce. The deserts was very nice , been a few times but will ask the sauce to not be put on plate next time not everybody likes it.

The reason we frequent The Swan is three fold: great publican (Ben) - engaging, very friendly, warm, welcoming & attentive... just wish he could be cloned so he can be public-facing and a replica doing the cheffing/cooking. . Good food and reliably well-kept beer. 4 of us ate together last Saturday 18th. and on an observational positive note I was struck by the big improvement in service and saw 3 servers - all good. My wife & 2 friends, I believe, had great food, as ever but being frank (& one way or another I'll probably suffer for that frankness) my own meal was a surprising disappointment, to be fair, partly my own fault. My wife reminded me afterwards that my previous visit when I'd had mussels was also disappointing: I'd forgotten so ordered tham again. I managed to eat them but they were tiny, very, very dry and lacking fresh normal flavour & there was no bowl with lemon for handwashing and no extra bowl for shells which would've been nice. So I'll skip mussels again. Likewise, my fault again, I know I really like boiled ham, not roasted as I ordered, and it wasn't very nice, fell apart, disintegrated etc and it was pretty greasy. My error - just shouldn't have ordered it & won't again unless boiled ham. The ham put me off the rest of the plate's content - didn't touch a pea and hardly are any chips. So, I'm not blaming the pub or Ben but I'll just have to be mindful of what I order in future. Great atmosphere & wine.

Always really friendly staff, good food and not stingy on the portion sizes.

We were visiting the area and stayed at a nearby hotel. Having eaten in the hotel we wanted something different and booked The Water Rat for an early meal. We were not disappointed. The service was excellent and the food was very good. The ice cream sundae was particularly spectacular. The offer of a drink and 2 courses for £25 was excellent value. If we return to the area we would certainly eat at The Water Rat again

Beautiful food, beautiful setting amazing perfect service. This is an experience not just a meal. I honestly can not complain about any item we were served, except maybe that the portions were a bit small. The food was incredible and I was beyond thrill when not only did the Chef come to our table but also let me take a pic with her. This really is a wonderful little restaurants that everyone in Telford should experience. Thank you for the yummy food.

Love the Queen's Head. The food is good, especially items from the Specials board, as is the atmosphere. The staff are welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Parking is easy. All bases covered.

Our second time at Surees - this time for Tapas - delightful - I cannot recommend the place highly enough.

Although we were put on the bottom floor whilst they were bringing more tables and chairs down, the food was fantastic as always. My son enjoyed being on our own to start with, however my wife did mention something regards to no atmosphere in the basement. The food always takes centre stage and we will be going again.

We returned again this week with our daughter and her partner. We wanted somewhere with guaranteed fantastic food and amazing service so where else is there to go other than Suree’s!? As always- Jo was there to offer a friendly and familiar welcome and we were of course delighted by the Thai tapas and my favourite dessert of all time- the deep fried ice cream. Consistently fabulous- it’s our first choice - thank you for another amazing Saturday lunchtime meal x

Amazing food couldn’t fault it at all. Staff were excellent a credit to the owner.
