Had a lovely Sunday lunch here, service was great, friendly and professional staff. Food was top notch and good value for money. Look forward to returning in the future.

The White Hart – IronbridgeHad a fabulous time on our recent visit which was Fathers Day. We are regular visitors and we are never disappointed with the food . It’s just very consistent and generous portions I really can’t fault it. The waiting staff deserve a mention because nothing was too much trouble they looked after my elderly parents with such kindness. I’d definitely recommend.
The Queens Head – OswestryAbsolutely beautiful Sunday lunch , can’t fault it .
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordWhat more can you say - lunch on Father's Day was up to the usual high standard despite being very busy. Thank you.
The Queens Head – OswestryHadn’t been here for about 4 years, so thought we’d give it a try again. We had a group of 5 and were given a round table which was ideal. The staff were polite and friendly. Our orders all came out together, not too long of a wait. Food was hot and well presented, any additional condiments were provided. All 5 of us enjoyed what we had, no room for dessert. I’d definitely go again.
The Queens Head – OswestryThe whole experience was not as I remember it to be. Part of pub is shut off. The was again not what it used to be. The sizzler wasn’t sizzling and tasted like they’d used a jar sauce.
The Golden Ball Inn – TelfordOn Thursday 12th June my wife and I enjoyed our first visit to The Queenshead at Oswestry. Lovely food, excellent beers served well by friendly and enthusiastic staff. A very good evening all round.
The Queens Head – OswestryWent with family for a meal. New manager nice and helpful. Food good .
The Last Inn – NewportWe had brunch at the Malthouse and the service and food was top notch!! Lucas was amazing, he gave us a pen and paper to write a list of music we wanted playing and also to write down our next round of drinks, they were flowing nicely! Thanks for making our afternoon so enjoyable and for being so accommodating. The Tesco pharmacy girls AKA the legal drug dealers haha!
The Malthouse – TelfordWe booked an afternoon tea through groupon for Father’s Day. My grandad is disabled and the staff were very accommodating and even moved us to the ground floor so he had easy access to the toilets. The food was amazing and we had a great time.
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordAmazing food Friendly staff Great meal out with me dad for Father’s Day Was a long wait for food but staff did let us know that that would be the case. Absolutely worth the wait though, and was glad as it let my food go down a bit even then I didn’t finish my portion but the staff kindly brought me a box out. We had the buffalo wings, teriyaki pig bites, reg mac and cheese and the mother clucker burger. The southern fried chicken on that was outstanding. Will definitely be back. 10/10
The Smokey Cow – TelfordBeing new to the area I thought I would try The Smokey Cow with my family, upon arrival we were informed there was a 30 minute delay due to waiting for another chef. Our table was booked for 2pm and it was 4:10 before we even started to eat. The food was nice but I think there should have been some sort of discount for the extremely long wait as this tainted our experience. By the time we ate we were all restless and just wanted to leave, hopefully just a one off as the food was nice.
The Smokey Cow – TelfordVisited her for lunch with friends on a Tuesday. It was empty and we thought it wouldn't be up to much. How wrong we were! All four of us had something different and the food was delicious. Will definitely visit again!
The Last Inn – NewportEnjoyable experience we didn't wait too long. Food was good and nicely presented. Staff were pleasant. We used a Groupon for the American style afternoon tea, so it was reasonably priced paid £5 for small portion of chips. We'd go again if we had a voucher not so sure without although food from the main menu looked good but portion size not massive be ok for smaller appetite.
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordDelicious food but very slow service. Table booked for 13:30 and starters (nachos) brought to the table after just over an hour. Mains were a further half an hour so it had gone 15:00 when we eventually ate. Wouldn’t have minded if the waiting time had been mentioned or acknowledged.
The Smokey Cow – TelfordAbsolutely superb experience, llfoid was immaculate, best roast ever. Great service too. We'll recommended.
The Malthouse – TelfordI went for bottomless brunch with my mate and we were greeted by the new manager Luke who was absolutely lovely, was so kind and polite nothing was to much for him very fast and efficient service very friendly
