Amazing food Friendly staff Great meal out with me dad for Father’s Day Was a long wait for food but staff did let us know that that would be the case. Absolutely worth the wait though, and was glad as it let my food go down a bit even then I didn’t finish my portion but the staff kindly brought me a box out. We had the buffalo wings, teriyaki pig bites, reg mac and cheese and the mother clucker burger. The southern fried chicken on that was outstanding. Will definitely be back. 10/10

Being new to the area I thought I would try The Smokey Cow with my family, upon arrival we were informed there was a 30 minute delay due to waiting for another chef. Our table was booked for 2pm and it was 4:10 before we even started to eat. The food was nice but I think there should have been some sort of discount for the extremely long wait as this tainted our experience. By the time we ate we were all restless and just wanted to leave, hopefully just a one off as the food was nice.

Visited her for lunch with friends on a Tuesday. It was empty and we thought it wouldn't be up to much. How wrong we were! All four of us had something different and the food was delicious. Will definitely visit again!

Enjoyable experience we didn't wait too long. Food was good and nicely presented. Staff were pleasant. We used a Groupon for the American style afternoon tea, so it was reasonably priced paid £5 for small portion of chips. We'd go again if we had a voucher not so sure without although food from the main menu looked good but portion size not massive be ok for smaller appetite.

Delicious food but very slow service. Table booked for 13:30 and starters (nachos) brought to the table after just over an hour. Mains were a further half an hour so it had gone 15:00 when we eventually ate. Wouldn’t have minded if the waiting time had been mentioned or acknowledged.

Absolutely superb experience, llfoid was immaculate, best roast ever. Great service too. We'll recommended.

I went for bottomless brunch with my mate and we were greeted by the new manager Luke who was absolutely lovely, was so kind and polite nothing was to much for him very fast and efficient service very friendly

Myself and my Partner went in for a Saturday evening meal. We opted for Starters and Mains and were very happy with the quality of the meals and the friendliness of the staff

First time at the Bulls Head for a few years. Callum took our order and was excellent and gave a brilliant first impression of the pub. Had a wait of around an hour for the meals but it was worth it!!! Great quality and portion size for the bigger eaters out there. The “mother clucker” burger was amazing. Well priced food, decent quality and we will return. Hopefully when the apple crumble available!!!

We went on a Saturday evening. The food was nice, arrived quickly and the staff were pleasant. Considering how much others are charging for a meal out these days, I felt it was very reasonably priced. 2 of us ate 2 courses with 2 soft drinks each and the bill was just over £60.

Lovely food and staff the only thing we weren't happy with was the 10% service charge which we were not told about at any point,it was only when I studied the bill on the way home that I saw it had been added

Good food. Expensive and slow service but tasty

We had lunch one day and dinner the next. On both occasions we found that all staff were efficient and friendly.The meals were hot and tasty and at a reasonable price.

Booked a very large table, very last minute for a birthday meal and we all had a lovely evening, it was quiz night too, which we all took part in and thoroughly enjoyed! Everyone enjoyed their food, Luke was fantastic, very attentive and made us all laugh, will definitely return, thank you for a great evening :)

Its our local and used to eat there weekly when the menu was better, more pub grub! But I was very disappointed, not only with the choice of food but the quality. The chips were brown to burnt; the mash potato heated so that a tough inedible skin had formed; no pineapple for the gammon; pork not crisp as requested. Such a shame. The waitress worked her socks off, trying to serve over 25 people; more staff needed. Done tables waited over 45 mins for food.

We visited on a Thursday, early evening, having booked 2 weeks prior. Due to the time the Raven was quite quiet. I had the sea bass, cooked to perfection, it was fabulous. My friend had the Mediterranean vegetable cous cous (usually has Hunters Chicken, but decided to be brave and try something different) she was not disappointed. We both left extremely clean plates!

Absolutely superb food as it always is, we are never disappointed.
