Water Rat – IronbridgeBooked for Sunday lunch took relatives having told them it’s good there and we were really disappointed. Waited a long time for drinks had to call a waitress in the end the food took a while to come asked if we wanted and sauces with the meal and they came as we were finishing. I wouldn’t mind so much but the place was virtually empty!!! Never had this problem before but it was embarrassing when you have taken other people with you. Won’t be visiting any time soon.
The Last Inn – NewportFantastic Sunday roast, couldn't fault one bit of it, we know whilst we were in their ppl were complaining and we felt so sorry for the staff, due to we were eating the same and it was lovely. The staff dealt with the problem correctly and some professionally. We will definitely be returning due to our little one doesn't really eat and he ate all of his lunch and pudding. Thanks again for also giving us a quieter corner too
The Last Inn – NewportWe had lunch at the Queen's Head & it was delicious , service excellent & very reasonably priced. Comfortable surroundings what more could you ask for
The Queens Head – OswestryLovely friendly service. Food below average and not at all as advertised, very dry, over cooked and poor quality. Expensive especially considering the quality
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordWe had a delightful meal with attentive service. The waitress was totally accommodating when we rejected the suggested table (beautiful overlooking the gardens) due to the music from a speaker as one of our group struggles to hear - the lovely lady immediate turned that speaker off in order we could still choose that table! How professional. The quality and presentation of the food was good and we took up the 10% discount offer as we were staying in the duster accommodation in Ironbridge. Fully recommend go to the Water Rat
Water Rat – IronbridgeWeekday 6:30 pm Service was good. Food was good, place was quiet, reasonable value for money.
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordService was friendly and prompt. Food and fresh vegetables served piping hot to the table. My liver pate, followed by lambshank , veg , mash was delicious. My spouse equally enjoyed his rib eye steak. We will certainly use this pub/restaurant again. Very enjoyable and good value..
The Queens Head – OswestryI could not rate this better! The food was absolutely incredible and the wait staff were so very lovely, the food came out really fast and it was the best steak I have ever eaten. We went for my boyfriend’s birthday and he had the chicken fried steak which he really enjoyed! Would definitely go again and will recommend to everyone ☺️
The Smokey Cow – TelfordVisited The White Hart for lunch with my mum for her birthday during the week. We had amazing service and food, highly recommend a visit.
The White Hart – IronbridgeReally nice Sunday roast yesterday Large portions and all very tasty
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordWe booked for a Sunday, thefood wad abseloutely lovely, large portions, fresh veg, I had the beef brisket and it was divine, others had pork roast and a steak, and everyone was very happy. I would highly recommend for food it is always 5 stars and they always have a great choice which is always fresh and homemade.
The Queens Head – OswestryA friend recommended your pub, and I’m so pleased she did. We had delicious food at reasonable prices. The service was excellent. Highly recommended, and will return.
The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyVery tasty food, friendly and helpful staff, lovely view. Can’t fault the experience, will be back!
Water Rat – IronbridgeBeen here before and until this visit I’ve never been disappointed and thought the Elephant Crossing was a little gem.. The menu (different to when we ate previously) is somewhat confused and confusing. Less Mexican more Mexican with steaks, more choice with the tacos but less well cooked. We were generally underwhelmed. What was good was the serving and bar staff. We saw only 2. On a Saturday too few but they were wonderful, helpful, worked very hard and were the standout part of the evening.
The Elephant Crossing – IronbridgeFood was very good and nice choice on menu, including vegetarian. The outside area is a lovely space to spend time in. Service was good though I feel they were under staffed for a Saturday night. Only issue was a loud and rude group on a 40th birthday party. I guess they put a lot of cash across the bar but maybe they need to decide what sort of atmosphere is right for the venue. Would recommend and would go back, perhaps on a quiter evening.
