The Last Inn – NewportFood is lovely and service.x
The Queens Head – OswestryA great meal on such a cold evening. Opted fir the set 2 course special offer. Great soup and fish and chips. Red House wine also good. A good deal in January. Efficient, friendly service too!
The White Hart – IronbridgeBooked a meal for me and my wife the service was outstanding nothing I asked was a problem and the food the chefs good was amazing top quality food and really well cooked. Been a few times now and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely evening and amazing food
The Smokey Cow – TelfordThe Malthouse is a reliable eating out option in Ironbridge. Tasty food, good veggie options and professional service. Recommended.
The Malthouse – TelfordFirst time visiting the Queens Head for a meal - definitely won’t be the last - it was excellent - the best we have had in the area - would highly recommend it
The Queens Head – OswestryEnjoyed dinner as a family of 4 with 2 boys under 10. Food was great and service matched with very friendly and helpful staff.
The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyBeen to the Smokey Cow in Beckbury a number of times . Yet to disappoint us , food always very good , staff very friendly and priced very competitively. Also a lovely village if you fancy walking off your meal !
The Smokey Cow – TelfordApple crumble had hardly any crumble on top. To top it off with the other meal, very poor. Would not recommend this pub to eat.
The Bull – ShrewsburyGreat food cooked as requested and unusually for pubs of today nice sized portions, very friendly staff always happy to help can't wait to go back
Water Rat – IronbridgeMe and my partner visited on New Year’s Day, we were greeted by a lovely lady (who I believe her name is Niamh going by the receipt) and from start to finish she was wonderful, always had a smile on her face and so accommodating. We wanted to pass on how much we appreciated her kindness and she is such a credit to this establishment. Food and atmosphere was lovely as always. Thank you :)
The Last Inn – NewportMy husband and I visited the Swan for the smoke stop afternoon tea on New Year's Day. It was very busy, with many customers arriving at once. Staff were pleasant and working hard to provide prompt service. Afternoon tea was good. We had scones with jam and clotted cream, selection of sandwichs with ham, cheese and egg, chicken wings and boneless chicken strips, brownies and cheesecake. Wasn't a smoke stop but nice afternoon tea. Tea was teabag and water, rather than a tea made and brought to the table, or a pot of tea. But happy with environment, food, staff and price.
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordNice afternoon tea using a Groupon code so very reasonable, especially for an early New Years Eve treat. Pub was busy so wait times were a little longer but not a problem. Good food but small portions for the savoury side. Would definitely go again.
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordFood was really nice. Really enjoyed it especially the steak.
The Bull – ShrewsburyTable for two on NYE. We've been multiple times and this was one of the busiest nights we've eaten here. Service was faultless and food delicious. Senior staff were extremely on the ball and had the whole place running like clockwork. All the servers were attentive and friendly despite being obviously tired from a busy shift. Couldn't fault anything other than the lightbulb above our table was flickering but that wasn't a big deal as only for a few minutes.
The Malthouse – TelfordWe had a table booked for New Years Eve while staying in Ironbridge for a couple of night. Our table was upstairs and the area was nicely laid out. The service was excellent. Our food was superb far exceeding what we were expecting. Can not recommend highly enough.
The White Hart – IronbridgeHad a great meal , thank you to Eve and the Chef whos name I can't remember will hopefully be back.
The Elephant Crossing – IronbridgeGreat food and service. Best steak pie locally. A great choice on the menu. Just needs a few more people in there. Good real ale too.
