Eaten at the 3 Millstones several times and found it to be a wecoming, high quality experience, until this occasion. The waitress wasn’t friendly or particularly helpful and appeared unhappy in her work. The set menu was disappointing and uninspiring (pollock or chicken) so we ordered off the À la Carte menu. Our food was tasty, (sirloin and fillet steak) but not as refined as I’ve had previously. It was too much food and too expensive in my opinion. I would prefer smaller portions at a lower cost meaning we would be more likely to have 3 courses and spend more money. I would also suggest less options but ensure the quality and value for money is priority as that will ensure return custom. Appreciate the hospitality industry is tough with some places always busy whilst others are always quiet.

Food excellent and staff excellent. Which we come to expect. On negative side the disabled toilet was missing a toilet seat and the male toilet cubicle had a defective door lock.

A wonderful lunch. Plenty of food from lunch menu. We couldn’t finish our meal but it was fabulous and reasonable The ambiance and service second to none. Oh and the beer choice was fantastic too

First time visit and definitely won’t be going back. Very disappointed. Booked a family birthday treat, 6 of us for Sunday lunch. The service was terrible. They took our drinks order but it was an hour before they eventually took our food order, a lady came to apologise they hadn’t taken it yet as they were just waiting to get a big order out. The Sunday lunch when it did arrive, was lukewarm warm and very average. We asked for some sauces and they also didn’t arrive until we asked for them again, meaning our food was cold by that time. The place wasn’t even busy. The area they say is in had good all over the floor and wasn’t cleaned up until we were eating our meal. So disappointed as we are local and I’ve always wanted to go but never been. Won’t return, very over rated.

Lovely food excellent service can't fault it been a few times and have never been disappointed

I walked to the pub from a house where I was dog sitting. Was welcomed warmly and sat at bar with a soft drink waiting for my friend. The staff were so lovely and friendly while I waited. I don't normally go for a carvery as they are often disappointing. But I couldn't fault this one. I had 3 different meats, each of which was tender, tasty and succulent. All the veg was fresh and delicious. There was everything you needed for sn excellent roast. Will definitely go back

Average food. Roast potatoes were rock hard. Pork was vile, all fat! Beef very chewy. dirty toilets, toilet paper everywhere. carpet dirty looks like its been down over 20 years. Not worth the money at all. Sack the chef . Presentation decent but actually taste isn't as good as it looks! Best part was the desert which was probably bought in

8 of us had a wonderful meal, this included 2 vegan members of the group and 1 vegetarian, all the meals were excellent and service outstanding

Another great afternoon spent with friends. Love this bar, the food is great, the drinks flow & staff are professional yet friendly. It’s go to place on a Sunday afternoon

Great atmosphere and very busy. Still received excellent service. Food delicious. We had asparagus in parma ham and grilled prawns to start. Main courses Steak Diane and lobster with linguini. Wine list to suit all tastes. Thank you for a great night.

My favourite restaurant to take family and friends who are visiting the area. Staff are always friendly and patient when we are too busy talking to make choices about food and drink. Great menu and whatever you pick it will be delicious. On a Sunday night there were a few dishes unavailable as they had sold out - but simply a sign of how popular A’Vucciria is. Good atmosphere. Love the mix of all ages of folks that enjoy eating there.

Food was very good, nice atmosphere, service was ok, it was busy, it really needs a front of house manager to direct the flow of traffic to the bar and to tables for food as there was outs of waiting to be seated with people at the bar queuing for drinks

Return visit and once again faultless. Food excellent, service wonderful, surroundings , atmosphere and comfort great.
