Beautiful 3 course Sunday lunch. Everything was very fresh and perfectly seasoned. One of the best pub Sunday lunches I've had. Staff were friendly, polite and helpful throughout.

Amazing food and fabulous service.

Three different main courses chosen and all excellent. Lamb hotpot was delicious, as was the pie and fish and chips. Would highly recommend.

Food was great but service was a bit loud and robotic all I could here was the waiter speaking all the time very loud staff was polite but just same speech to everyone like I say robotic

2nd visit of the holiday and all our meals were top notch.Staff are efficient and friendly and it’s a lovely pub also.

Absolutely blown away by the standard of food and service at this restaurant. From the outside it looked like your average country pub but as soon as you enter the atmosphere is warm and friendly and the staff were all lovely. Dogs were welcome and well cared for (we didn't have a dog but witnessed other dogs being greeted by staff). Our waiter Adrian was the perfect host from start to finish, always ready with a smile or helpful suggestion. I had the prawn cocktail starter with sourdough followed by chicken, bacon and Leek pie, finishing with lemon posset. My husband had the camambert starter, the seafood linguine and sticky toffee sundae. I have to say we both agreed we have never had a meal that was so fresh, delicious and so well presented. Hats off to the chef, we couldnt fault a single thing with the food. Glad we booked in advance as the restaurant was full by 7.30pm and the restaurant closes at 10pm. My only suggestion would be to space out the courses to leave enough of a gap to let food go down as I finished up feeling very stuffed where my food didn't have time to go down before the next course came. I cant wait to bring friends and family here the next time we visit.

Lovely place to eat, eat here often because the staff are great and it’s good value for money. however most of the pasta dishes are very bland.

Food was first class thoroughly enjoyed the hot pot and crumble. Service was excellent and friendly. We enjoyed immensely the experience and sure to return in the not too distant future.

Lovely roaring fire, friendly welcome on Saturday evening. The steak pie & mussels were delicious & big portions. Fish & Chips also delicious, but a few extra chips would have been great. Sticky toffee pudding was scrumptious. The young lad serving was really helpful

A lovely meal served by very pleasant and friendly staff. We mentioned in passing that it was one of the party’s birthday and they presented his dessert with a candle and sang Happy Birthday - a lovely touch. Would definitely book again.

I received an email asking for my experience of dining at Lewis's Bistro. I didn't stay long enough to eat due to the unfriendly, unprofessional attitude of a member of staff. I eat out often and have never experienced anything like it. I understand that it's tough recruiting people into hospitality, but some people just are not suited to customer facing roles.

Another fab lunch yesterday we love this place great food ,service and a great relaxed atmosphere . Also a great choice of menu has to be the best place in town……be sure to book early see you all again soon……..

Superb food as always , the lamb was the best I’ve ever had. We always make a point of visiting when we are in the lakes.

A lovely meal, in this pretty village. Good value for money and great service. The steak was cooked to perfection.

Visited The Pheasant Inn on our 1st night of short break to Keswick with family. Nice warm atmosphere, good food and warm welcome.
