Always a great experience at a genuine Keswick Pub. Great food, friendly efficient service and a warm - if a little cluttered - atmosphere. All part of the charm of one of the best dining venues in Keswick.
Pheasant Inn – KeswickWe booked a table for a meal with family. We travelled 3 hours to get there. When we arrived at the relevant date and time the restaurant was closed. Found another nice restaurant to go to instead, but was disappointed.

Pheasant Inn – KeswickVisited with family from the Midlands They had been many years ago and loved the hotel Their meals were fine but mine was v v disappointing I am coeliac and was limited for choice I chose the beef dinner The meat was inedible It was so tough I could have soled my shoes with it !! Not really what I expected from a hotel of your calibre

The Wheatsheaf at Beetham – MilnthorpeWe had a meal for 4 on NYE staff were really welcoming and service was great. We had 3 Sunday roast meals that were amazing with a good selection of vegetables. One person had fish pie and said it was delicious. We had one person who was gluten free and they were well catered for. The STP was gorgeous, highly recommended, we will be back 5 Star

La Mezzaluna – Carlisle2nd time we’ve dined here & we will be back. Gorgeous food & wonderful service. The only negative was where our seat was positioned. We were right next to the loos & next to people sat at the bar, these people were hovering around waiting for our table which we though rude even after staff told them the table wouldn’t be ready for a while, this however won’t deter us from returning in the hope we will be sat somewhere else next time.
