Had a lovely lunch, very attentive staff. I have been before my friend who hadn’t, was impressed.

Friendly staff, amazing food and followed by a game of snooker what more do you need. Had a great experience last Saturday would highly recommend the Lunesdale Arms 10 out of 10.

The food and service is always good at the Lunesdale Arms. We enjoyed our meal but unfortunately the dining area was barely half full which detracted from a convivial atmosphere.

I am a regular visitor to South Planks Cafe, the food is fresh and well presented. I love all the healthier options especially the Granola Bowl and falafel, hummus and salad bagel. The girls serving are so polite and efficient and make the whole experience an excellent one. A porch on the entrance door would help, as it can get drafty if you end up sat by the door in winter. Keep up the excellent work and I won't drift off anywhere else. Super!!

Lovely relaxed place , food was of a good standard . Would certainly go back . Staff were pleasant and efficient . One small criticism would be turn the music off .

I've only recently discovered Planks Kitchen and I love it. The food is fresh, plentiful and really healthy. The staff are welcoming and cheerful. The restaurant is a lovely environment and I like the outdoor seating, which will be great in the warmer months. My only issue is they need to get a self-closing door, as it can be a bit draughty sitting near the entrance, as so many people go through and leave the door open. I would thoroughly recommend Planks Kitchen and have already introduced several family members and friends to the place. The online booking is straightforward and they don't make a fuss if you have to ring up and cancel. Give it a try!

Another great visit to The Waterwitch. Great food, great service and all round lovely place to visit for something to eat and drink. The option to sit out by the canal is brilliant. Definitely be back.

We enjoyed another fabulous meal on Saturday night. Every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was excellent. Ryan came out of the kitchen to speak to everyone when they had finished their meal which was a great personal touch.

Food was outstanding. Absolutely delicious. Well worth the wait for home cooked perfection. Truly so much more than your average pub food. Will be returning for sure. Lovely views. Cannot wait to return to try something else off the menu and see if it is equally as delicious.
