This restaurant is one of our favourites and I think we may be classed as regulars. However last evening,the 5th December, we were disappointed. We both ate fish pie, which looked and tasted like it had been made days ago and reheated. Dry and tasteless. We mentioned our disappointment when asked at the till but there was no recourse

Went to Verdes again for tea on Friday evening , outstanding yet again, food was lush, service was 1st class. Manager made us feel very welcome. We will be attending again very soon. Highly recommended, Christmas tunes playing ,great atmosphere.

Love coming here, the food is delicious especially the steak and Stilton pie, There is a great menue choice, the bakewell tart is gorgeous. The staff are very friendly and it's a atmosphere.

Great venue with a fab atmosphere. The staff so welcoming with a nothing is too much trouble attitude. The pizzas are the best in Chorley. Great value for money.

We both felt like a change from pizza so we ordered other things from the menu. We had a starter, main course and dessert and all were delicious with generous portions. Lovely atmosphere, efficient service, staff ensured we were happy with everything. A gem of a place.

Excellent service and food. Brought our own Birthday cake which they brought out singing happy birthday to my husband . Fabulous evening thank you .

Superb Christmas meal. Very good portion size. All items cooked well. Very attentive staff. Thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon. Not rushed at all.

We had a voucher that needed spending so headed over for lunch midweek. Tapas always suggests more food is needed but we found the quantities more than satisfactory and of highest quality. Michele and the staff are amazing and we can’t wait to go back very soon.

Booked a table online two weeks prior to visit and specifically asked for a table in the bar area. When got there (only 2 of us) we were seated in the restaurant but the bar area was not busy? Ordered steak and stilton pie which i have had numerous times and always enjoyed. On this occasion the mash and veg were only lukewarm. As they were short staffed i didn't send back as waiters/waitresses were thin on the ground and by the time they would have heated it up my friend would have finished her meal. Did mention it to waitress when she came to collect plates just to be told she would mention it to the chef. Had to go and track down staff to order a coffee and then again later to ask for the bill. A disappointing visit which will make me reluctant to return anytime soon.

Really helpful and attentive waitress and chef for planning ahead for allergies. We went for the 3 for £20 lunchtime deal and we’re impressed by the quality and taste of the tapas! I’ve never had tenderstem broccoli so fresh and flavourful. Thank you so much, can’t wait to visit again.

Beautiful setting and the food was excellent, staff also excellent so will be booking again soon.

Great experience, the food and portion size was lovely. The restaurant had a lovely buzz about it for a lunchtime. Clearly a popular place. Service was lovely too. Wouldn't hesitate to revisit. (update to previous review as it submitted before I could review Service and Value for Money.)

Booked for lunch and so glad we did, it was nicely busy. Food was great, excellent portions. Service was lovely too. Great experience. Will look forward to returning.
