We had a lovely meal for our department Christmas lunch. Staff were great both before and during our visit. We can recommend the cocktails too, particularly the Espresso Martinis. Thank you!

We booked here as we’re close to the area and wanted a little treat before heading home. We booked online a couple of hours before and were excited as it’d been recommended. When we arrived there was a table clearly complaining at the bar, we weren’t acknowledged or a quick, “will be with you in a minute” when the table left, to which they said to us on their way out, ‘I wouldn’t if I were you’. I told the server we had a table booked, they said it wasn’t ready (we were a few minutes early) which is fine. We then waited another 10 minutes, no acknowledgment or sorry for taking so long. Another table approached him whilst he was laying our table and we overheard them asking for some sort of discount and didn’t look too happy, clearly another complaint. Rather than him telling them he’ll be 2 minutes so that he could see to us and take us to our table, he dealt with them instead??? Making us wait even longer. There was a lady sat in the bar who also said to us not to bother at that point I told the server we were going elsewhere as it’d taken far too long to even sit us down and 2 tables told us not to risk it!! I’m not sure if it was a staffing problem but they didn’t seem too busy and to be honest, I’ve worked in hospitality, some simple manners and acknowledgement is common knowledge and doesn’t take much!! We won’t be returning and we didn’t even make it to the food but after reading the reviews we won’t bother. Such a shame.

Visited on 6/12/24, great food! Lovely country pub. Service was a little slow but the lady who looked after us was so lovely and attentive. Can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic service. The waitress was excellent at discussing my dietary needs and very pleasant with the children. Good food. Only improvement would be for the restaurant to be warmer, we were cold.

From start to finish, the most perfect meal. Service was fantastic, the meal and pudding were outstanding. We will most certainly be back!

Our first visit here on Fri 6th Dec and we had an amazing meal. Live music which was great too, unfortunately we had to leave due to a customer who insisted on being the loudest noise in the restaurant. Turn your volume down dear.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at The Raven. The food was outstanding and very well priced. The pub itself is lovely, clean and spacious but sadly lacks atmosphere. It’s very brightly lit and a bit ‘cafe’ like. But having said this, I have returned and will return again.

Visiting Ironbridge and just had to eat here again! Fabulous food and excellent staff - will visit again!

We had two surprisingly good meals for the money on successive evenings. Service was impeccable and the atmosphere was fine given that it had snowed and was sub-zero outside. Breakfast chef has an unfortunate taste for 90's rock, so if that is not your thing, sit away from the kitchen area but the food was good, if not up to the standard of the evening menu.

Meh, nothing special, wouldn't go again. Barely any toppings on the nachos, the beef was dry. Overall I'd give it a 6/10.

We had our annual family meal here (a party of 15). It was a great experience from booking to paying! The staff were wonderful, the food was delicious and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you, we would definitely come again!

Food was amazing staff was great and atmosphere was great only thing I would say is maybe add Abit more chicken to the meal that was £25 but all was fantastic and an amazing experience would recommend

We stayed for one night, excellent service, very friendly staff, and food was delicious, and plentiful. Would recommend to anyone.

16 of us, varied menu choices, all served by smiling staff. all enjoyed a relaxing atmosphere, tasty food and some decent beers. great get together
