Had an absolutely amazing Sunday roast here, the food was really tasty, and great portions too which was all a good price. The staff were extremely friendly, and it is a very dog friendly pub, with doggy roasts available which were very well received!

The cocktails and food were served by lovely friendly staff who made our lunch quite special, attentive but not overpowering. Lovely friendly atmosphere! Would definitely go back and recommend to friends and family.

The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordOverall, a friendly welcome and nice evening. Good menu and attractive location. The 40 minute wait for food felt to long. I had the steak which was very nice, but why so much salt chef, had to scape it off the mushroom so I could eat it, otherwise tasty. The homemade puddings were excellent. Given you have to go out your way to get to it, you need to get faster in the kitchen if you want people travelling back.

The Queens Head – OswestryWe visited for lunch by air so it was great to find 0% Kronembourg on draught. The service was very friendly and the food delicious. Great pub! Wish it were nearer to us.
The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyLovely traditional pub, great choice of ales which are well kept. Traditional Pub Grub which is done extremely well. Ben served us and is a real asset to the place, great banter and would highly recommend. I will knock off 0.25 of the score, only because the wrong pie was served, but it was delicious.

The Queens Head – OswestryA mothers day treat it was not. Arrived at 15 minutes early, no greeting and waited at the bar for a member of staff to acknowledge our presence. Despite the fact that we'd pre-booked not just our table but meal, they clearly hadn't reserved a table for us and proceeded to shove us up the corner and we were forgotten about. There was no table service, we had to get the drinks from the bar. We then had to wait an 1hr30 for our starters, we were offered complementary drinks because of this as the manager was embarrassed, however we didn't all recieve one. We then had an equally long wait for our mains. When I came to pay the bill, I wasn't shown an itemised receipt, but due to the experience being so poor I just wanted to leave and so didn't question this.

The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyReally disappointed to find that dogs are not allowed anywhere inside this pub. Waitress was unapologetic when telling us they were not allowed in - 'I emailed you back!' Would not have stayed for lunch but we were being treated by our son so ignored the indifferent welcome.
The Queens Head – OswestryI have food intolerances to gluten and lactose and they were still able to provide me with a lovely roast beef dinner with roast potatoes, steamed veg and gravy. We have eaten here twice now and will definitely be back again! It's a lovely pub and serving staff were friendly and helpful.
The White Hart – IronbridgeUpon arrival - we were slightly early, appeared no other diners inside the restaurant, it was lovely weather outside and many people just there for a drink in the sun. We weren’t greeted particularly well and we were thinking it wasn’t much of an atmosphere and decor where we were a little in the drab side. However after an incorrect drink order a couple of spills of drink on us as we were being served - food orders placed. Upon receipt of food, we were suitably impressed with the quality and freshness of the food, was presented well and very tasty, roast dinners very nice and the fish and chips was particularly noteworthy. Pleasantly surprised especially given the slightly increased prices to your standard menu prices but again given the location - probably average there. Would recommend the food here and enjoyed it overall Thank you.
The White Hart – IronbridgeThis was our second visit and again we were served delicious home cooked food. There’s a light bites menu and a god choice on the children’s menu. The staff are really polite and friendly and it’s really good value for money. Recommend the beef and ale pie 100%
