The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyAs always a lovely meal, great size portions and amazing value for money. Very friendly staff, we always enjoy coming for a meal at The Queens Head :-)
The Queens Head – OswestryWe have visited the Tilley Raven 3 times and each time the food has been very tasty. It is reasonably priced and the staff are friendly. I would highly recommend.
The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyHaving lived in Shropshire for 4 years we have tried quite a few restaurants, firstly you always know that the food is going to be good when there's not an abundance of options that overwhelm you. The food here absolutely does the talking and could not fault any aspect of it. We were discussing how we would love to share the experience with friends and family, the food actually made the hairs on my arm go up. By far the best food we have eaten in a very very long time.
The White Hart – IronbridgeWe had a wonderful Sunday Lunch at the Queens head yesterday. Food was absolutely delicious. We both had the nut toast Sunday lunch, the portion sizes were great, food hot and very tasty. My husband had the apple and sultana pie with custard for afters which was also delicious. The service was as good as it always is. We’ve never had a bad meal there . Highly recommend
The Queens Head – OswestryThe food never disappoints - our favourite is the Sunday lunch which is just excellent with great full of flavour meat and all the trimmings. We've tried a number of items on the menu and all are equally very nice indeed Our preference is to sit in the conservatory which just adds an extra open-space feel Latest visit was yesterday 20th October
The Queens Head – OswestryDined on 19/10 table for 5 menu choice varied and special board good, I opted for the seafood platter.food arrived hot and looking good the octopus was a little chewy but delicious, the prawns and mussels excellent the calamari was tough but overall I enjoyed the meal and didn’t feel I needed to complain. Staff were friendly and efficient and the decor was clean and inviting. Other meals ordered were lamb shank chicken curry chicken breast in sauce and belly pork all excellent.
The Queens Head – OswestryLovely meal as always, great service and really liking the new menu. We’ll be back again soon
The Bull – ShrewsburyThe food is delicious. The menu offers good choice a d it's clear they treat the ingredients with a lot of care and respect. My wife had the rib eye and the steak was cooked to her liking, medium rare, and there was no part which was overcooked. We will definitely comeback again.
The Queens Head – OswestryExcellent food and service. Would recommend to anyone visiting or live in the gorge.
The White Hart – IronbridgeReally enjoyed the meal that was very tasty . The service was a bit slow due to staff shortages however it was quite nice as didn’t felt rushed . I would definitely go back as I loved the flavour and taste of the food
The Elephant Crossing – IronbridgeBottomless brunch was amazing, cocktails were plentiful and quick to be delivered, the service was amazing and the food was delicious too!
The Malthouse – TelfordFood served to us as a large party on 10th October was excellent as was the service.
The Tilley Raven – Shrewsbury4 of us ate Sunday lunch honestly the best meal I ate excellent quantity and superbly cooked Really enjoyed everything no faults keep doing what your doing Yes we told them before we left how good our food was
The Smokey Cow – TelfordWe thoroughly enjoyed our meals last Saturday and would recommend the Queens Head for excellent quality and service.
The Queens Head – OswestryI was sceptical at first, having read some of the reviews, but needn’t have worried. Had a lovely Sunday lunch, no problem with service, although we were there early at 12.30. Belly pork was very nice, my wife had the chicken, vegetables and yorkshires also very good. We both enjoyed our meal, and thought it was reasonable priced. Car park not the best though, not a lot of room, but would definitely return
