The White Hart – IronbridgeA lovely place and a first class meal. Trust me as I probably chose the messiest meat (the ribs) as I usually do but it was enjoyable and useful to have a wash later. Lovely to see Sarah again. Really nice we will return when next in Ironbridge.
Water Rat – IronbridgeWe have eaten here numerous times as well as bringing friends and family and it is always spot on. Food is always amazing and very well cooked, portions are great. Superb value for money. Staff are always brilliant and attentive. Love love LOVE it.
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordNice pub. Service was a bit slow on food. Looked like they were using only a couple of staff Friendly staff even so.
The Bull – ShrewsburyAccommodate our large party of 12 superbly. Food was excellent with large portion sizes. Had a really enjoyable time. Would recommend
The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyWithout doubt the best Sunday lunch we’ve ever had. Family of 3, all said the same. Butter soft brisket, lovely roast potatoes, home made Yorkshire puddings, fresh vegetables, and plenty of it! Staff are all attentive and friendly, the beer is good too. Absolute gem of a find. We live over an hour away, and will definitely be back.
The Smokey Cow – TelfordGorgeous food, Yorkshire puddings were amazing, the lemon posset and brownies were heavenly. The only negative was that you’d run out of horseradish sauce but the creamed leeks did come a very close second with the mustard in them. Lovely setting, wonderful staff we will be back. Thank you very much
The White Hart – IronbridgeWedding anniversary Dinner. Beautiful surroundings and food was fabulous. The staff made us feel very welcome and looked after us all night. Cocktails were amazing. Shame I could only have one. I could work my way through the menu. Perfect venue and setting for any occasion. Will definitely be visiting again.
The Elephant Crossing – IronbridgeService was great food was good too. Atmosphere fab. As the pub gets busy the service does reduce, when band / gig on may be more staff? = more profit.
The Malthouse – TelfordAwful experience. Started when we got there no one to greet us or show us where to go. Ordered drinks and ordered a cocktail with a sparkler and scratch card as stated on the menu. Received the cocktail but no sparkler or scratch card so made it a very expensive drink. Ordered food at the same time as two other tables next to us (menu sounded lovely) but waited over an hour and still no food other tables next to us had eaten already at this point I went to ask waitress as we had no communication at all from them when one stated she was coming to talk to us and the kitchen had said they had a big table come in that they needed to serve first (despite us being there first and pre booking so they were aware of us) we were offered a discount at this point but still no idea of how long food would take and no real apology as kitchen were saying it was our issue. We decided to leave and elsewhere. Overall very poor experience and would not visit again.
The Elephant Crossing – IronbridgeWe had a meal here as we stayed in the hotel. The place is nice and the staff were great. I had the rib eye steak which was definitely burnt. I should have said something but didn’t. My fault. My wife had a veg pizza that was really thick and dry. Food was ok but we were a little disappointed.
Water Rat – IronbridgeExcellent!
The Tilley Raven – ShrewsburyI have been a customer for 25 years. The decor is lovely. However, my son and I choose this venue for our meals. We don't have the money that we used to have. He has eaten here since he was 18 months. He is now 14. Friday was a big deal to us. We've had alot of trauma in recent times. Hugo's burger was lovely. I had the caesar salad. The sauce was watery. There were no anchovies. The bacon was raw. The lettuce was wet. I only ate the croutons. The chicken was burnt rubber. Disgrace at 13 quid. We stayed for pudding. I didn't eat but Hugo had the brownie. The ice cream was full of ice and clearly watered down. I am very upset and disappointed. We will not be returning.
The Malthouse – TelfordHaving booked a table the day before myself & 2 friends went for lunch. The restaurant was very busy and eventually we were taken to our table which was situated in a back room. The room had very little lighting and was so dark we had to use our phones to read the menu. The room felt like an overflow room with a stack of high chairs and an open door leading to the staff quarters. Half way through our meal a member of staff started to clean and sort out all the cutlery which was so noisy we couldn’t hear ourselves talk over the noise. Despite this the food was excellent but we felt very disappointed about where we had been seated. It took a while for our table to be cleared after we had eaten. When we got up to leave it was a joy to see sunlight and brightness in the main restaurant. Staff were very busy and did their best but we expected more.
The Malthouse – TelfordAmazing food always just enough choice on the menu to keep everyone happy . Lovely staff always polite and friendly .
