The Bull – ShrewsburyFantastic food and service. Looks fresh and modern inside. Would highly recommend.
The Malthouse – TelfordVisited here yesterday for a Sunday roast and was quite disappointed. No roaring fire lit like previous visits. lots of tables empty and the room at the back was cold. No ambiance like berore. The food was ok but seemed like it had been kept warm for a long time even though we ate for around 2pm. Staff were helpful.
The Last Inn – NewportI had booked the Swan through Google search for lunch for my family. I cannot fault the service at all - the staff were so accommodating to us and especially to my grandma who has trouble walking. They were very attentive and friendly. The food was delicious and such good value for money as well. Would highly recommend again!
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordGood was beautiful but unfortunately they served our steaks the wrong way around, we didn’t notice until half way through. This was mentioned to the staff and apologies given but I would have expected a complimentary drink or something in aid of apology. This did not spoil our night and I will definitely be back.
The Malthouse – TelfordLovely pub. Great meals. Had a nice time and will be back again soon
The Last Inn – Newportvisited 11/23 a little wary as previous visit not great. Pleased to say much better. Good service, food tasty and plentiful (although a little more gravy with the pie wouldn’t have gone amiss) Live music added atmosphere but I have to say the conservatory area feels a little cold and unwelcoming. Nothing a change to lighting couldn’t improve though. Will be back.
The Last Inn – Newport2nd visit in last couple of months 1st visit was excellent and the 2nd visit didn't dissapoint either, friendly staff reasonable prices and superb food. Well worth a visit
The Bull – ShrewsburyLast night we celebrated my partner’s birthday at the Malthouse. The refurb is lovely - gives the whole place a really relaxing, but smart ambiance. The manager (we believe) was welcoming and friendly, inviting us to sit at the bar & enjoy a drink whilst we waited for our table to be ready… we had arrived early. A small criticism (and my only one ) is that the bar staff who were clearly busy, did not acknowledge us for at least 5 mins whilst they chatted and joked, preparing drinks for customers at the existing table. I feel it would have been polite and good customer service to tell us, they were going to be a minute or two, much sooner. However, this did not spoil the evening, staff were attentive throughout the night and were very courteous. The food was quite simply delicious - we could not fault it. Congratulations to theTeam - we shall be back.
The Malthouse – Telfordgreat food just needed abit of music
The Smokey Cow – TelfordGreat food and beer. Didnt have chance to try the cocktails. Would recommend and will come again.
The Elephant Crossing – IronbridgeI was very impressed with our meal. The food was delicious and piping hot and beautifully presented. We shared a cheeseboard for pudding and it was the best cheeseboard we’ve had- no skimping on the crackers and cheese and plenty for two. Service was exceptional. The waiter was friendly, polite and willing to please. I would definitely come and eat here again.
The White Hart – IronbridgeAbsolutely superb a great meal lovely staff we will be back
The Swan At Ironbridge – TelfordGood service and food which was excellent value for money.
